We LOVED our stay! TBH, after reading some not so great reviews of the Monarch I was a bit nervous. Thankfully it far exceeded our expectations. Such a clean, light, comfy space. Loved the pool and jacuzzis. Great location - we walked to beaches, shops, and restaurants (the adjacent food truck campus was a bonus).The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked. There were also beach chairs, snorkel gear, umbrellas, sunscreen, hair and body products, lots of towels, just about everything we could possibly need.Note that there's no table and chairs for eating, so be prepared to eat on the bed or comfy recliner chair. The gym will cost you a one-time fee of 5 (cash). We didn't rent a car but if we had wanted to they are available on site. Also, the malasadas (Hawaiian cream filled donuts) at the Maleko cafe on the ground floor are to die for!Our host Milena was very responsive and helpful. It was a great value for the price. 100% would stay there again!
