The positives: - the building has a stunning view from the common space looking directly out on the water. - the price is pretty unbeatable for its location. - the building does have bellman carts to take suitcases up/down efficiently. The negatives: - the blinds do not go down to the bottom of the windows. I don't think it's possible to see in (due to the balcony floor), but a consideration for female travelers. - the unit isn't really CLEAN clean. The sheets/towels were washed and the bathroom fixtures were wiped, but there were bugs in the rubbish bin and there was an unknown stain on the mirror.- there is no kitchen sink. There are pots, pans, a tabletop element, etc. But it's tough to deal with washing up in the bathroom sink.- The host never replied to any of my requests, once he gave me the basic instruction of how to get into the key's lockbox. - I didn't receive check-in instructions at all. I had to ping the host via the app (unsuccessful), calling via the app (unsuccessful), and then calling the number directly. Dealing with this while super tired from an international flight was really frustrating. - The Internet went out before the trip ended. I sent requests to the hosts several times via the app and text. No answer. The unit is up for sale below market because the land lease is almost up. I feel like the host therefore doesn't really care.
