Location, Location, Location! So easy to walk to EVERYTHING in town. Nice, clean and comfortable. Hosts made it very easy to get in and out. Would highly recommend this place and company.

Great condo, quiet and cozy. Communication with host was great. We had two minor issues. One was that the smoke alarm is either defective or ultra sensitive. Once it went off when we were using the the iron. Maybe from the iron steam? And the other time it went off for no apparent reason other than perhaps steam from the shower. Anyway, very loud and difficult to turn off. The only other minor issue was the upstairs shower easily leaked water onto the floor maybe due to very high pressure or something else. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend location. We didn’t make meals there so it was fine for us but the kitchen is a bit small for cooking. Thank you!

Not great for young children, great location

Overall a nice condo that is in a great location. Of note to those with small children, the floorboards by the bedrooms are very loud and creaky. The walls are also very thin and sound travels through all the bedrooms. The two bedrooms also share a bathroom, which is challenging if there are kids sleeping in each room, you’ll need to use the downstairs bathroom if you don’t want to go through the bedroom. Also, the blinds are light, so the rooms are bright until sunset and at sunrise. Finally, the only comfortable living space is right outside the bedrooms. There is no comfortable seating on the main floor.

Walking distance to downtown, lots of boardgames

We loved being able to walk to the main downtown area, and took advantage of it each day. There was plenty of room and it was nice that their were two showers. We didn't use the kitchen much but it seemed to be well equipped, and it was great that there was an electric kettle. The only downsides were the incredibly creaky floors, kind of thin walls, and one of the beds was not very comfortable (no support and super squeaky). Nothing that was a big problem.

Magnifique région

L’appartement est parfaitement situé pour visiter la région et il est très bien équipé. Nous avons apprécié pouvoir marcher au cœur de la sympathique petite ville de Hood River. On y mange très bien. Avec toutes les belles randonnées et les paysages à couper le souffle nous aurions pu rester plus longtemps.

Vacation for a wedding

The condo was great, very clean, great location in Hood River. You could walk to stores and restaurants and breweries. The scenery of the gorge was stunning.

Perfect long weekend getaway!

The townhouse has an interesting layout that reminds me a lot of the houses you would find in Abruzzo, Italy. Very clean, comfortable, and has all the things you need for a long weekend. Owner was delightful and attentive. We look forward to staying here again next year.

Super location to explore the Columbia River

Apartment provided a spacious place for my daughter and I while we vacationed in the area. It is ideally located within walking distance to town for restaurants. Hood River is the perfect spot for hiking and wine tasting and the apartment was a perfect base for us to get out during the day and relax in the evening. It was comfortable and clean and was a good choice for us. Be aware it is on the 2nd floor without an elevator if carrying luggage is an issue. Also the bedrooms are up additional stairs so more suitcase lugging is necessary.

Home base in Hood River

We stayed at this property in Hood River on a road trip from San Diego to Oregon and it was our home base for four nights before starting our trip back south. The property is a cute little place that is well-stocked with everything we needed and more - plentiful fresh towels, beach towels, full kitchen with plenty of dishes and cookware, hand soap and cleaning solutions and laundry detergent and stain remover, even a drying rack for hanging wet clothes. My 11-year old especially loved the games table - Monopoly, Scrabble, Quattro, Dominoes, etc. The location is great - close to restaurants and grocery store and to the riverfront where there is a great walking path along the river. The only complaint we had was that there were ants. There are ant traps set in the kitchen, so they are obviously trying to address the problem. They were not bad, just scavenger ants searching, but be aware that you need to be careful not to leave any food or random crumbs out and keep the bathroom counters clean or you will have a problem. Also, we were happy to be able to use the washer and dryer in the building, but wish we had known ahead of time that it is coin operated, so that we could have come prepared rather than try to find someplace to get coins once we were there. But, overall, we found the place to be comfortable and a great home base for the time we were there.

Great quick getaway spot

Great spot! Close to town and easy access to river activities and Mt Hood. Gorgeous drive out from Portland! Would definitely recommend and stay here again if given the opportunity!
