We completed the transformation of 1217 May St. into an nightly rental in early December of 2019 and are proud to offer a high end experience to our guests.

100% of the furniture as well as the furnishing are brand new as of 12/01/2019 which include: Queen sized memory foam mattresses, 55" UHD 4K TV w/ Netflix provided, Modern styled furniture, a well stocked kitchen and custom art throughout the home.

Amenities and Appliances available include: Ample parking, equipment storage, High speed WiFi, Automatic coffee pot, Microwave, Toaster, Quality baking and cookware to name a few.

Additionally the location cannot be beat as you will be staying around the corner from 12th St. which is the "Heights" of Hood River. 12th St. is where you will find Hood River locals eating at Pine Street Bakery and Lake Taco, enjoying craft beer at Volcanic Bottle Shop and shopping at several cute boutique stores.

If you are up for a short walk or a quick car ride, downtown Hood River is less than 1 mile away. Oak St. is the heart of HR and lined with many more shops and restaurants that we are happy to recommend.

It is right across the street from the Hospital! It was very comfortable and quiet. The decorations were thoughtful. They even had the book Catcher In The Rye on a shelf. I would like to have seen a grab bar in the bathroom and in the tub. Also some more non skid surfaces around the corners of the tub. Parking was actually good once you figured it out. Maybe a walk thru youtube video would help. All of it miles ahead of a cookie cutter motel room

Great little place!
Great little house, very clean, exactly as advertised. Nice cosmetic updates but definitely an older house. Driveway is very narrow, make sure to read parking instructions! Very heavy comforters...might be nice to have something a little lighter!

1904 built house, nicely redone with a great location!
The parking was odd because you have to drive up a slender driveway between two of the three houses that share the same driveway, then go behind the carport of one of the houses and park in the grass behind the house. The location was great because you can walk to a lot of nice locations (parks, hospital, eateries, aquatic center, etc.). The house itself is charming. Its old but nicely redone on the inside. The beds are firm but comfortable to get a decent rest for your stay. The bathtub is deep and does for a nice soak. The heating was cut off when we arrived so it was 47° inside, but when turned on it worked well and heated fast. Overall, it is worth the price and probably even more enjoyable in the warmer months.

Great little 2 bedroom house!
I only stayed in this house for 1 night but for that night it worked out great. The property was exactly as described. The only trouble that I had was actually finding the driveway and parking area. It is pretty hidden as to get into the backyard you actually have to drive between 2 neighboring houses and around a carport. It may be problematic to fit a really large vehicle up there.
