“This cabin is everything you could hope for in a mountain getaway. It's a cozy layout with great mountain views right from the main sitting room. It has separate living areas, which is great for a group that might want to do different things. I hiiiiighly recommend this for anyone looking to escape to nature.”

“This magical riverside cabin was just perfect for a quiet, relaxing couple of days. The cabin itself was very comfortably appointed, with just the right rustic feel. What we loved: sitting on the deck in the evening (maybe with a good book), listening to the insistent frog song, the occasional splash from the river, and yes, even the trains (we got used to them very quickly!). Michele was very quick to respond in communicating, and cheerful to visit with on site.”

“Beautifully built cabin with gorgeous decor in new development of Sunshine Valley. Our family loved the wood stove and the cabin had everything we needed for a perfect weekend stay. The gate system in and out of the property adds an extra step for entry and exits, but the owner communicates clearly about this. Great location for access to Manning Park or Hope. Big ATV community so perfect for those who enjoy that. Mornings and evenings were quiet and peaceful and there is a lovely deck and……

“Very comfortable and spacious floor with 4 large beds, enough for 8 people! Big kitchen, we’ll-equipped with everything. Photos are accurate. Nice pool table in middle of space. Hosts were great. There were treats in fridge and lots of coffee supplied. Nicely decorated and very well maintained. Would definitely go back again!”

“Place is very clean and comfortable. Great option compared to hotels in Hope. Nice view of mountains. Only negative is that neighborhood currently has a lot of new house construction going on. It'll be nice when all done. Wasn't really a problem and house is well insulated from any outside noise. It's more of a visual thing.”

“Everything was as expected except the hot water system is not vented correctly which lead to no hot water on three occasions. This is an easy fix but resulted in a poor experience.”

“Communication with the front office was excellent. Cabin was ready early. Bring extra cutlery. The mattresses are firm, the pullout needs a new mattress in cabin 6. ”

“The Whiskey Jack Cabin is by far the best cabin my friends and I have visited. The cabin offered a fantastic, fully stocked kitchen which is extremely important to our group. We enjoyed walking around the friendly and charming community while breathing the fresh and clean mountain air. We also enjoyed long hours at the fire pit and pool table and the entertainment centre was a real bonus. I highly recommend this place as your next outdoor getaway!”

“Had the best weekend with our rather large adult family. Hot tub was immaculate, sauna as well. Kitchen had everything we needed, great cookware. Our family truly enjoyed the whole cabin and since there was no snow we took advantage of the pool table and the air hockey table. Talking about our next trip there. So glad we booked.”

“Cabin was very close to Sasquatch Mountain Ski Resort. The Kids enjoyed Tubing and Skiing. The Cabin is very nice and undergoing some renovations. Cant wait to see once finished. Lots of space for family and beds very comfortable!”

“What a beautiful place to have an authentic Canadian winter vaca. Our family had an amazing time enjoying the snow and mountain at our door step. Be prepared to shovel snow we had to dig our way out of the driveway a few times and when they say chains are mandatory it’s no joke. Brian was great to communicate with and we will be back next year !”
