"This is a really lovely place! Some historic hotels/B&Bs are just historic and have seen better days. Not this place! We were only there for one night while on a road trip, but we would have enjoyed staying a few days longer. The manager greeted us warmly and made sure we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house and grounds are beautiful. Our room was beautifully decorated and spotless, plus the bed was super comfy. After a long travel day we were happy to grab a pizza from a local restaurant...

"Staff not there after 9pm. Clientele not the best. Distracting loud music and violent arguments (with swearing) from next door neighbors. Doesnt feel like a safe environment. Problem with booking. Desk said they they did not receive payment eventhough the payment debted from credit card. Did not refund security deposit."

"Very nicely kept and clean property and very clean room. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Only thing I found was, they need new towels. Staff was very nice and courteous and breakfast was good. More like continental breakfast but they also had freshly made waffles you can make yourself. No pool. Right next door to a great Diner I84. All and all rating at least 4.5 stars. Would stay again if necessary."

"The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was the pool. The hotel itself was clean, and the rooms and common areas were well maintained. The breakfast was decent, and there was always something to eat. Overall, we had a good stay. However, the inside walls of the pool, especially around the waterline, were noticeably dirty and looked like they had not been cleaned for a long time. The water itself was clean, but the yellow buildup around the edges of the pool was unpleasant and affected the overall impression."

"This was a clean and comfortable hotel. The room was nice and had a lot of space. The beds were comfortable. The lobby was big and nice to relax. The staff were very kind. My only complaints are the shower was very high pressure - I was afraid to put my face directly in the water. Next, there is a blinking green light on an alarm/detector in the room which caused a flash every few seconds and that was annoying to someone in our party although I didn’t notice it with my eyes closed. Only about six channels worked on the tv. Good overall. Some quirks."

"The view of the Hudsonriver was terrific. On the down sidet: the furnature was right out of the Salvation Army resale store. It was drab and smelled like a mustty old motel (which it is). The frig smelled, one set of towels was dirty there was no chair to sit in other than a straight back convention chair. Even though it was cheap, don't waste your money."

"First, the hotel staff were excellent and very courteous. Appreciate that very much. We had a very late check-in. Experience with Expedia helpdesk was less than optimum. The bill from hotel did not match expedia rates and still working to resolve.. The issue was not with any of the agents but the overall process it took for us to get things sorted out. Around 4 AM, The family next door was haring a fight and loudly yelling bad words and kids and all of us woke up hearing that which left was not feeling very good. Since we only reached the hotel around midnight. Also, there was lot of smoke smell in the room even though we asked for nonsmoking. Still working with Expedia on the refund."
