「Great stay here - we arrived around 20:00 on a horrible stormy Saturday and were greeted and checked in cheerfully and quickly. Room was small but had everything we needed. We had dinner in the pub and that was a genuinely lovely, I'd go back here again just for a meal. Portions were generous and the food was delicious. 「Room not big enough for : suitcases What floor space there was was taken by a free standing AC unit the size of a small bar refrigerator which roared like a 747 picking clothes for the day involved houdini like manoeuvres!」

「We booked through Expedia who then passed the wrong dates onto the accommodation.」

「The hotel is in a great location. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Staff service could have been improved at check in and check out」

「Lovely rural location, a couple of miles from a small village with nice restaurants and shops. Close to Bewl Water.」

「Lovely old inn with well appointed clean rooms. Had evening meal which was excellent. Breakfast was also well cooked and delicious. It had a lovely ambience.」

「The hotel is old but very nicely maintained and uniquely decorated; great food in the bar/restaurant, though a bit pricey for a very small community like this. Staff are helpful as well.」

「A great place to stay, especially when the sun is shining! Very comfortable room and a lovely breakfast.」

「Amazing place highly recommended, food and restaurant staff just great….. we have enjoyed sauna and morning Yoga was perfect to finish it off our stay.」

「Philip and his wife Nikki have a wonderful Hotel and are lovely people! Our room was tidy, comfortable, quiet, and had small touches like complimentary tea and cookies that were so appreciated and enjoyed by us. I had the best sleeps I had on our entire 2-week stay while here, so much so that I missed breakfast unfortunately--(my fiancé made it though and said the food was delicious also). If we are ever in the area again, we will be back. Thank you for the fantastic experience!」

「I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property nothing was too much trouble for Fiona and James and I have booked again for next year. The room was on the ground floor with a good shower, drinks and biscuits and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was exceptional and I can't wait to return.」
