A lovely setting unfortunately full of golfers but as it's a golf club it is to be expected 😀 We had a car accident the day before we were due to leave and the lovely receptionist Anna was so helpful with giving us a free extended checkout time. The room was lovely, I wasn't overly overwhelmed by the menus available but the breakfast choices were excellent. All in all we had a lovely time and I would definitely recommend Dale Hill

We had a suit for our 10 year anniversary. We got married here and wasn’t disappointed as although things have changed the room was amazing and so was the breakfast Only criticism was the room where breakfast was done was tired and in need of some tlc

Good value. Had a pleasant ground floor room overlooking greenery and you can open windows and French doors to get a pleasing evening breeze. Property is a little dated but we were fine with that. Access to plugs is an issue for charger, kettle and iron , cant use light plugs as different so have to pull out tv on stand to access and crawl in. They should have an extension plug pack to make it easier.

Highly recommended, especially if you're using it as a central base to explore the High Weald hiking trails and local National Trust properties. The bedrooms are really a story of two parts here. The old wing feels quite dated with older, functional furniture, lacks air conditioning, and tends to get quite hot. The new wing is the exact opposite, much more modern and nicely cooled. Both areas are kept spotless! Just a heads-up if you need a firm bed: the mattresses are extremely soft and tend to dip in the middle. Breakfast covers all the standard items and is perfectly fine, but the highlight is the setting. The views from both the dining room and the bar terrace overlooking the golf course are beautiful, serene, and calming. We also had lunch and dinner at the restaurant. the menu is versatile, well-presented, and really tasty. The staff deserve a special mention, polite, warm, and genuinely doing their best to accommodate requests . The swimming pool is on the smaller side, but it also overlooks the golf course, stays clean, and was never crowded during our stay.

We visited for a wedding and it felt like we were stung for the price it was bumped up to. For £200 for a double room we were expecting the best but welcome at reception was lukewarm and no important information was conveyed re check out time or breakfast. The bed was only a double, breakfast was on till 10.30 but by the time we arrived at 10 there were no pastries left and no replacements, most tables covered in uncleared dishes. Cleanliness was good and the pool was nice to have. Service from cleaning staff and wedding hosts was really friendly and attentive. If you're demanding that cost

The staff were lovely and the food (dinner and breakfast) was very good however the general standard of the hotel was dated and basic. For the prices we paid we expected a better higher standard. Our room was very hot - there was no air conditioning and no fridge. The carpets was stained. We struggled to open the french doors and when we did it helps a little. We struggled to sleep. We paid nearly £500 for the weekend but felt it did not meet our expectations for that price. Overpriced.
