“I have stayed here before and had great experience. There were a couple of snafoos when I arrived but everything worked out in the end. The stairs going up to my place were not ideal but I survived. I want to thank Rebecca for all her help and kindness. I want to thank the wonderful Kenton for coming down the next morning to do a great job getting my room in tip top shape. And last but not least, Scott. He came down from the Pub to reset my lock to make sure I would be completely safe. I……

“The place appeared unkept on the outside. There were cigarette buts on the walkway and the tiles were broken. I thought it was strange for a bed to be in the living room and the second bedroom had a table and chairs in it. The bathroom lights were bare light bulbs. It’s an old house and needs some fixing up. It was adequate for our needs.”

“Quaint homey feel.”

“Very pleasant stay would recommend if you are in the area”

“Very peaceful. A gem to sneak away to for a weekend.”

“Had a great time with my life wife on our annual kid free weekend away. Hosts were very responsive, we lost power after a storm for a short period and they were quick to show up with a generator but luckily the power kicked back on and the generator wasn't necessary.”

“Great little place”

“I live the view of the lake.”

“Wasn’t bad but felt weird host didn’t meet in person and was living above me made me and my service pup sketchy towards the end of the night. I think if they would’ve at least met me, (I would wanna know who’s in my basement also) it might’ve not made it so weird”

“Absolutely amazing cabin located in the most beautiful location. Home was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Would highly recommended to anyone who needs peace, quiet and serenity!”

“The property was full of surprises. The host anticipated and provided for our every need. It was our 18-month-old grandson’s first vacation and we had a blast. We thoroughly enjoyed the grounds and kayaks. It was too hot to investigate the hot tub but we really used the game room. We can’t wait to come back!”

“Great place. Very clean. It felt brand new. All staples you need plus there were snacks, coffee and waters. The po d out back is great for fishing! It was a surprise that the guest house is attached to the main house. However, we never saw or heard anything that impacted our time here. The location is very close to Hillsdale College. There are a handful of places to eat and trails arboretum nearby. 30 min from IMS.”

“Spacious well equipped home!”

“We loved our stay here. Super cute cottage, with everything you need. Definitely go to Jerry’s for lunch or dinner. Great food and fun times there. Quick walk from the cottage. Thanks again for sharing your cottage with us! We hope to stay there again next summer.”

“We had a great time. The owners were very attentive and friendly. Our family enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring the lakes and channels nearby, as well as using the fishing gear that was all supplied at the house. Quiet and peaceful area, the lake is very private so we could float around casually and go to the sand bar.”

“What a wonderful lake cottage! The cottage was clean and had everything you could want for a stay at the lake. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms/beds were super comfy for a great nights sleep after play on the lake all day. Check in was super easy, I would definitely stay here again.”
