“A really nice way to start and end a trip in Namibia. Especially good if you like beautiful gardens and interesting birds - it was full of rosy-faced lovebirds (a parrot), woodpeckers, loeries, babblers and more.
Everything about Etango is excellent. Airport pick up was organised in advance. The rooms are great, with air con and nice facilities. The pool is well looked after. The food was wonderful - four courses, each delicious and high quality. When arriving back from my motorcycle ride……

“A hotel that struggles to be boutique and luxury and ends up feeling more like an upmarket airport layover. Not helped by booking 11 of 15 rooms out to a tour party. A take over where the pool lobby and restaurant were set up for them. Operations manager who was new to the job did offer a table for dinner in the reception lobby but not really where we wanted dinner. Waited 45 minutes next morning for coffee and eventually some croissants- then had to leave. Senior management who we were informed……
