We’ve stayed at this property before so I knew that we’d be getting a clean comfortable room. This hotel offers fully stocked kitchens which is a plus. The beds are comfortable and the hotel very quiet. The staff is very friendly.

Staff was very friendly. The rooms are spacious with lots of amenities. It is a newer building outside of the downtown area. It would be a great place to stay for a few days while visiting the area. Unfortunately, we were only there for 1 night.

Everything was super.clean from the lobby to the room! Staff was polite and efficient. We go up to the UP every year for vacation and we will stay at the Independence from now on everytime. Super impressed with that hotel!
