“Monica and everyone at Casa Ensenada are so welcoming. It is a lovely little hotel in a fantastic neighbourhood. A small but sufficient breakfast is available daily. Room and everywhere was always very clean. But the staff lead by Monica is easily the reason to stay here. Always attentive, helpful and cheerful. Truly felt like they enjoy having you stay with them. ”

“This is a terrific location, a bit off the beaten path, but close to Condessa and Roma Norte. The staff were very courteous. The room is really a small apartment, and one could stay here comfortably and cook if needed.”

“A wonderful option a little away from the main area of Condesa but easily walkable. Comfortable room, great, helpful staff. Coming back after a day out felt like coming home. It was nice to talk to other guests at the breakfast each morning. ”

“Very nice apartments in a secure building. The staff was friendly and helpful. The neighborhood feels safe and has great options for dining and coffee. Maestro Taquero, Cantina La Llorona, and Cielito were some of the places we enjoyed. The front desk is staffed 24 hours/day. They do not have cash, so they are not able to change larger bills for smaller ones; most establishments in the area accept card, but I like having cash for tipping. And they only provide clean towels every 3 days, so plan……

“Easy check in with codes. Good location. Good communication. I needed a few extra minutes for check out and they gave it. Arturo is friendly. Travelers should be aware that when paying the hotel directly there is an 11 percent, or $10 in my case, credit card processing charge or perhaps it is a currency conversion fee, I’m not sure. I was not aware of this in advance. The proprietor said I am the only person to have reported this situation to him.”
