The room itself was fine, but I had a terrible experience with the man at the front desk. I'd reserved the room online through expedia, where you use your credit card to hold the space, but then pay when you arrive. Day of, I called in the morning to confirm my reservation, and to let them know I'd be arriving at 11pm. At 10:45pm, while I was on the road struggling to find the place, I get an angry call from the front desk demanding to know if I'm still coming and threatening to sell the room since I wasnt there. Even after telling him I'd already called to confirm, and that I would be there in 15 minutes, he was still rude and condescending, and I could barely get him off the phone. My check-in experience (same man) when I arrived a few minutes later was equally bad. I've never written a negative review before, and like I said, the place itself was fine for a budget motel, but that is NO way to treat customers, whether they've paid in advance or not.
