Pictures literally don’t serve this unit any justice. Spent my birthday weekend in Houston with 6 guest and I was overly happy with this last minute booking. Terra was a great host and easy to communicate with, home is beautifully decorated, spacious, super clean and felt at home. Would definitely book anytime I’m in Houston!! If you haven’t booked already I don’t know what your waiting for

Very comfortable stay including beds. Clean property. We appreciated the extras in the kitchen and TVs in every bedroom. Trash valet service was nice as well.

Weekend Getaway

The apartment was in a great location. We were in for an extended weekend to attend the Morgan Wallen concert. The apartment was very clean and nice. The only cons were there wasn’t a decent set of cookware to be able to cook dinner in the apartment. There was one small pan, medium size pot and small pot. We ended up making it work but it wasn’t easy. Also there wasn’t much silverware so we went and bought plastic ware. There were some spices and stuff left in the fridge when we arrived. My suggestion is to clean out all expired items and if they have been opened, I would recommend discarding them just for food safety purposes. There are 3 beds total in the apartment. So technically it can sleep up to 6. The apartment also mentioned a PlayStation which my boys were excited about when coming back to relax for the night but unfortunately it had been stolen by another person who stayed previously. Other than that, the host was very responsive, apartment was in a great location and it was very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

Great stay

The condo was super clean and was everything we needed for our NRG Stadium experience. We were hoping to use one of the many pools but it rained. Instead we were close to great restaurants and shopping. The closeness to the NRG Stadium was perfect for us. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was super helpful!

All good, fun time was had

Everything was really great except towels left in the dryer and one under the bed in the master room. Also, the third bedroom doesn't have a door, so my son was a bit bummed with not having full privacy.

Disappointed - Infested with Roaches and Misleading Management

Upon arrival, the entire unit had a strong, musty odor. We soon noticed roaches throughout the kitchen and dining area. This is unacceptable in any rental. When I contacted the owner/manager about these issues, I was met with denial and blame. They claimed the previous guest stayed for 30 days and checked out the same day I arrived, which makes me seriously question how they could have properly turned over the unit in that short time. They insisted there were no roaches and absurdly suggested I must have brought them with me. The owner also accused me of leaving dirty dishes in the sink, a used towel in the bathroom, and trash in the trash can. Before seeing the roaches, I used one knife, which was left in the sink, and the only towels I used were paper towels in the kitchen, which I threw away along with a few empty cans. After seeing the roaches, I was not comfortable going back into the kitchen. On the day of arrival, I received a message through VRBO with the access code, instructions, and a disclaimer about "nature" entering the unit for which the owner was not responsible. If by “nature” she means roaches, that is not acceptable, and there was no mention of this or refund policies before I boarded my plane. I ended up having to book a hotel at an additional cost of 500 because I could not stay in this unit. When I requested a refund for the rental, I was denied.

Rodeo time!

Great location, good response from host, reasonable price, accommodated our needs and we had an enjoyable stay. Finding the unit was a little challenging but we found it and got in ok. We would book a stay again!

Need some work for five stars

An older building that needs some work on the exterior. Water pressure was pretty weak and we didn’t find the extra towels (in the dryer) until the last day. There was a window that was left half way open and several were unlocked. There were only 2-3 pots and pans for cooking. Access to the gym requires you to meet up with the host. The host was very slow to respond to messages through the app.

Laterra's communication is top tier. We arrived after 11pm and she still answered the phone and helped with a self innduced error.We loved the comfort of the rental as well as the location. Decorated tastefully. Will use again when in the area.

Called Laterra at arrival she picked up first ring. Helped with getting inside home. Looked exactly how it looks on the pictures. Bed feels like heavennnn water is hot place is clean, neighborhood quiet and friendly. Came from pool called she answered right away. Will stay here again. 1⁰0000/10

Parking

My one complaint is the parking. You have to park on the street and the vehicles fly down that street. I tried parking inside the garage in spot “749” but that spot is not for the apt 749, not sure if there’s another 749 around that area but it was just an inconvenience because that parking spot was in the garage directly attacked to our hallway Other than that, it was clean, stocked with plenty of towels and sheets, and communication with the host was great

Nice Apt

Had a little trouble finding the apt and the map took you to a place across the street. Other than that the apt is very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. Would recommend and stay again if in the area.

Terrible Experience

The owner of this property was responsive when I had inquires during the booking process; however, our deep concerns for the property after arrival were not. The exterior of the property is unkempt and the “private patio entrance” is wide open with very uneven pavers and tree roots. The metal doors have quite a bit of damage which made us feel unsettled. I walked inside, reached for the light switch and a spider crawled across my hand. We also saw a roach but we were most concerned with a terrible odor and apparent water damage. Within a few minutes we had headaches and knew we could not stay. There’s also a second exterior door that opens to a dark outside hallway which once again made us uneasy. The inside on the place was well appointed and the photos were accurate in terms of the place looking nice and comfortable. I understand I have little recourse but we immediately contacted the host who asked if I had taken pictures of the insects and explained to me that she had never had any previous complaints. I use VRBO a lot and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. It seems reasonable to be reimbursed for at least one night of our two night non-stay, but there was no offer to meet me in the middle by the host. Again / the interior looks nice, but the insects, the odors / headaches, and the general feeling it was not safe (beat up exterior doors) make this a place we will not return to.
