"The location is great. The hotel is beautiful and very quiet. The staff, with the exception of the staff of the restaurant located downstairs, is amazing! Everyone from the team greeting you and opening the doors for you when you arrive to the team checking you in, are so attentive and friendly. Anastasia checked us in and greeted us with 2 glasses of champagne as well as sent us a bottle to our room two days after on my birthday. I shared with her during our check-in that we were there to celebrate my birthday and she remembered! She made our trip extra special!"

"The location is phenomenal and convenient. Some staff were as helpful as they are trained to be. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. Checking in the front desk attendant looked irritated we had our pet. She put us on thee ninth floor(our view of downtown Houston was nice) next door to the elevator then proceeded to ask, you're not leaving her alone right? Maybe I was wrong to assume that a family friendly hotel is exactly that. There are no microwaves (1st floor one is available) and or refrigerators in the rooms. We were not informed our room phone did not work. She had a lot of information to tell me but that. Half of our channels didn't work. Keurig was dusty. Glad my instinct lead me clean before truly settling down.There were a lot of little inconveniences that made it a bit more annoying as a family traveling. I did enjoy thee art on the walls. My personal experience and opinion I would not recommend it for families. I would not stay again. "

"Wonderful high end property- lots of dining options great lounge and very spacious fun pool area. Knowledgeable, attentive staff - well organized and run property. "

"This is definitely an urban hotel! I had no issues with it, but I grew up in New York City and am used to noise, watching out for things, and general street smarts. My room was on the 10th floor so I didn't hear much street noise when trying to sleep, but coming back to the hotel at night there were all sorts of clubbing people out (even on a Thursday) and music blaring in the streets. My room was really nice and clean and I had no problems with any of it. However, at night there was no one checking the people coming and going in the hotel lobby (and some people came in just to drink at the bar) so having anyone being able to go up in the elevators might concern some people. The hotel is for a younger, hip crowd and I would not recommend it for seniors, families, or conservative suburban people. "

"Room was smaller than anticipated, but it was nice. Friendly staff. Thpught breakfast was free but was fast reading and it is available LOL. Good place to stay to catch a game or for convention center. "
