"We arrived to the hotel pretty late and exhausted and notice there were no sheets on the bed and no towels in the room. We booked for 2 nights and stayed 1. When we checked out the front desk didnt ask why we were leaving early. She just stated thank you for staying with us."

"If you read various new travel guides you will find nothing good. But that doesn't do Hovden justice, because it was the starting point for many wonderful hikes for us. Our holiday home was excellent with a sauna, which helped us get our muscles functional again. Thanks to the very well equipped kitchen, we were able to cook for ourselves. "First we couldn't find the office to checking in. It is at the other end of the town. We were asked if we brought our own bedsheets and towels after we checked in. Ended up we were charged 360nok on rental for one night stay and made our own beds. And you have to strip the the bedding and return them to the checking counter on the other end of the town to check out. "
