「Absolutely lovely cabin! Stayed for 2 nights and loved it so much. So many amenities and the fully stocked kitchen was fantastic. The location was perfect close to town and Crater Diamond State Park. I do hope to come back soon and spend more time. We same deer - so many - and they just came up right up to the cabin. The cabin was spotless, beds comfy, there were board games available, WiFi and FOUR TVs so to keep everyone entertained. 」

「LOVE LOVE LOVE! This is the 2nd year my family of 5 has spent at the Lazy Trout and it’s absolutely perfect for us! It’s super close to the river, perfect space for us, clean and easy to get to! Close to a Mexican restaurant and Dollar General if you don’t feel like cooking or need something you forgot! Will definitely stay again! Feels like home away from home for us! 」

「Pam was amazing. She allowed us to check in early so we could unload everything and immediately hit the river. The cabin was decorated for Christmas with a tree and lights. Everything was perfect. We had plenty of towels, they were so soft and they smelled wonderful. We could not have asked for anything better. We will definitely go back.」

「As many other people's reviews, pictures do not do this vacation rental justice! Breathtaking views over the river, quiet, peaceful and secluded. Fishing is not too feasible, however there is a spot down the road with easy river access. Cabin had everything we needed. Diamond mining equipment was a plus, we went twice and was a fun experience for the family. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well laid out with all cooking tools, plenty of seating in the living room. TV is not smart, which some...

It’s private, quiet and DARK. We got in late and wish a porch light had been left on because it’s pitch black. The ceiling fans in each room were great.
