「After a long day of travel, we arrived to find that the unit had not been cleaned after the prior guest checked out. Beds unmade, dirty bathrooms, crumbs on the counter, trash about. Called host who did not pick up. Called VRBO and sent them pictures. Host finally texted to say the unit had been cleaned and he had pictures, then called to say "it was on him" and he would credit one night stay plus cleaning. I requested a full refund but was denied. He said he would credit the one night...

「Fabulous location, easy to Uber all over the city. Neighborhood is very quiet. We never heard one siren at night. Neighborhood is safe, we walked to Whole Foods one day. Beds were very comfortable. 「The building is on the vintage side, but the apartment has modern decor. It is tastefully decorated and makes for a very comfortable stay. The view out the living room window and the bedroom of Freedom Park is beautiful and an unexpected treat. Access to the metro is easy and takes about four minutes. 「We were so excited to stay here. The property was in a neighborhood about 15 min drive from the Capital. We ate at Dennys (3 min drive) where the bathrooms were locked up. The waitress said someone was shot in the bathroom a few days prior and that’s why they were locking them. The interior looked the same as the pictures.
