“We had a wonderful time in this beautiful little cottage. Easy walking distance to quaint village. Very nicely decorated and everything was spotlessly clean. So quiet and peaceful. Washing machine and dryer are a bonus, especially if you’re on a longer trip as we were. Pam gave us some great tips. We would love to stay here again.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Frank & Val's place on Heckman's Island. The river is so peaceful to wake up to at sunrise with the sound of loons, and we were also greeted each dawn by deer quietly roaming around the cottages. There were lots of great movies for the kids to enjoy, and we really appreciated all of the complimentary, organic & unscented amenities provided in the kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Highly recommend this location for your stay in the Lunenburg area!”

“I cannot express how absolutely gorgeous the property is! My three young adult kids actually gasped when we turned into the driveway and saw the view. Very comfortable home, clean and accommodating and Phil was a great host! The area is quiet and remote but close enough to sites like Peggy's Cover for a day trip. Highly recommend this property!! The only thing we had some confusion over was the laundry situation. Listing states a washer and dryer so we just assumed we could do our own load……

“We spent 4 nights in this small but clean and well maintained cottage on the Nova Scotia South Shore near Hubbards. Nice water view. Good bathroom with tub/shower combo. Lots of hot water. A few minutes drive from shops and restaurants in Hubbards including a grocery store. Good deck to barbecue or sit with a drink. This unit is best suited for up to two people. Owners Glen, Ruby and Clayton are fully engaged and available. Cottage shares a parking area with the owners’ recreational equipment……

“There was no water due to a water pump issue that need an upgrade that the owner was fully aware of and I was advised the morning of checking in. Unable to use showers, toilet, dishwasher or even able to brush teeth. Worst experience. Reached to owner numerous times got nothing back and reached out to VRBO customer support and nobody provided me any support. I put in two online complaints and phone call to VRBO and no feedback or support provided!”

“We spent a few days with our dog. The cottage is great and location perfect to visit surrounding. The resort is calm and neirbhours are quiet. Although it is to notice that the houses are very close one to another and they all have their dogs too. I would recommend with no hesitation!”
