“Have been waiting on a refund from host for over a week. He has been contacted by VRBO & Expedia multiple times without response. I was not going to leave a negative review but the host has left me no choice. We arrived at the property on check in day to a *very strong* odor of moth balls. At first we thought it had just been closed up for a long time & that it would decrease with air circulation. Within 15 minutes, my headache was so bad that I ended up vomiting. “There are many things that I enjoyed staying at Creekside cabin. First of all , the proximity to Buck Creek/Lake and its picturesque scenery, the accommodating pavilions for lakeside picnics, and some good and close local restaurants were all in the plus column. Regarding Creekside cabin, I loved the spaciousness that this rental offered. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Having access to to a full washer and dryer was a bonus. And it was the most immaculate……

“The rental was not without merit but for every positive there was a dissapointment. The shower was nice but the bathmat was stained from water that repeatedly soaked it from the water that leaked from the door. It had a nice covered front porch to sit on but it was questionable if you wanted to use it. One example was a man yelling as he walked with a long stick hitting signs and posts as he brisky walked up the street. It had a coffee pot but only 2 cups that held hot liquid and did not leak.……
