「This house has beautiful views and it was only about 45 min to Williamsburg. It is on Hills Bay, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very shallow and would be great for younger kids. We brought kayaks and enjoyed our time on the water. It would be fantastic for someone that owns a boat too. The water doesn’t have many waves, but we tied a party size float to part of the dock and all the kids, ages 10-19, loved our time there. Since I’m the first review, I think I might be the first...

「This river house is very spacious. It is located on a lush, secluded lot with private beach and private boat deck. We had 9 guests. The open layout is ideal for socializing, and there are plenty of spaces available when you wanted more privacy. The location was a short drive to a beautiful local golf course, to the town of Urbana, and some great restaurants on the water.We rented a pontoon boat and cruised around the river, docking the boat right on the private beach. 「The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed including a kettle which was very welcome for making tea. The nearest big grocery store is about 3 miles away. The property is in a very attractive area a short walk to shops, beach and water side attractions. The whole area is very attractive. We stayed 4 nights and regretted we hadn’t stayed longer so we could enjoy all the area had to offer. 」
