"Great place if you like a lake. We have been coming every summer for ten years. Near by towns have nice restaurants and shopping too. Beautiful pool on the property, canoes, kayak. They also have a pontoon boat that you pay $25 an hour and get chauffeured around. We do it every year it's a beautiful boat tour. There is also a good restaurants on the propery for dinner. The only complaint I have is what you are charged for the continental breakfast which consist of not much unless you like cereal that kids usually like, not a good variety of pastries (not even a variety) boiled eggs, one kind of oatmeal and a few varieties of granola bars. The staff is very friendly too."
"Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I really enjoyed the tour I received from the cart driver (I totaly forgot her name, but I do remember she met her husband there and has been volunteering there for many years) She has a passion for the place and after the tour I could see why. Grounds had everything you would need to make your overnight stay or week long stay memorable and relaxing. I was able to fish off the dock, watch the young adults play home run derby on the ball field and enjoy a great dinner at the restaurant. Was a little concerned about no TV and no AC in the room. Room was a little hot during the day, but with everything there is to do, why stay inside. Night time, I put the fan in the window, turned the ceiling fan on and slept like a baby. I was only there for 1 night, but would go back again. Maybe next time for a little longer."
Ultimate couples getaway! Quiet and private Lakeside Cottage in the Adirondacks
8/10 Good
"We loved the location and being right next to the pond, The access to the pond via docks made it easier for fishing. Very nice that they provide kayaks, canoe & pedal boat. Saw either an egret or eagle grab a fish out of the pond and loons were calling out at night, love them.Wished there had been blinds in living room (as they have in bedroom). I had to rig up coverings for when I slept out there, too creepy at night without. Some sticky spill was on floor near kitchen (when we got there) and ants were coming in. I tried to find mop but couldn't, so used an antibacterial wipe to scrub it so more ants wouldn't be coming in. Also screen door had been damaged in corner, so wasps were getting on the porch."
Amber Lantern Lake George Motel and Cottage Rentals
10/10 Excellent
"The room, was clean towels very white and organized toilet and bathroom very clean
Room smelled little musty but not too bad. we loved the place it has a small refrigerator, bathroom is little for a tall guy but made it work. we will definitely come back
We enjoy places like this, in the rustic side.
it could use a little upgrade not to make it modern but a bit more comfortable
But it is great the way it is."
