Humpy Creek Trailhead

We checked in for 3 rooms and the front desk clerk acted like it was the biggest inconvenience for her. It took over 35 minutes to check in. The property is old and rundown. They have tried to upgrade but needs lots of work. Our rooms were quite clean however they had the heat on and we couldn't figure out how to turn it off in one room and it was over 90 degrees. NO ONE is available after 6pm. The info says call on the room phone for help after 6pm but the phones didn't work. So we ended up calling the police to find out who managed or owned the hotel. Finally a maintenance man showed up and fixed it. There was nowhere to even get a cup of coffee in the morning. An awful stay.

The hotel is beautiful and very welcoming. The staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay.

This is a good "brand" type hotel, new and well-appointed and reasonable. With eagles nesting in the parking lot trees. A decent location, close to a supermarket and restaurants, very helpful staff. It also works as a corporate events place but the rates were normal.
