「The cabin was secluded and quiet, lovely location, and a beautiful sunroom. We were two adults and a baby, and a cat. It was clean and well stocked with linens and utensils. Our baby did well as it was kid friendly. Small but compact and everything was in good working order. WiFi was good. It was close to Mine Kill State Park. We enjoyed our stay very much. 「Amazingly beautiful property and clean space for rest and relaxation. Kliment is a kind and wonderful host - his abode is next to the rental space and he made sure we had everything we needed, and was kind enough to share eggs from his chickens, and tomatoes and herbs from his garden, all while giving us the privacy we needed on our getaway. 」

「We had a great time staying at the Washburn Cabin! Plenty of amenities and little touches that made it a pleasant stay, but it still felt like we were unplugged and had plenty of privacy.」

「Very unique experience in a wonderful locations but a few asterisks.There is no plumbing en suite, which we were aware of, but the bathhouse (clean) is a good 100 yards away. Not ideal for middle-of-the-night wakeups or if your ability to get around is compromised. It got very cold overnight and unfortunately the fireplace would not switch on. The batteries in the remote were probably the culprit, but this didn't help make us any warmer. The staff was very nice and helpful. 」

「My wife and I stayed here for a joint birthday/anniversary—our first real vacation since 2019. The location is convenient to downtown Catskill, but the property condition is “comfortable cabin”—just what we wanted. The backyard felt remote and we had a wonderful opportunity to stargaze. Close to great trails, restaurants, or nothing at all. My only recommendation: an evergreen hedge to provide privacy for the front porch, which has lovely cabin vibes but whose proximity to the road feels better...
