“I had a really good experience with this cabin and the location. The owner lives on site, met me within two minutes of my arrival, and then gave me a brief and complete rundown of the property and the surrounding area highlights. Property sits on a beautiful stream and the large property is very well maintained. Inside of the cabin matches the photographs in the listing. A lot of outdoor activities near by. “We are so grateful for the the absolute peace we experienced at Brooke and Frantz's cabin. It is decorated and designed for comfort, convenience and FUN! After driving for 9 hours we were exhausted and full of stress. Just one night at the cabin and we were all refreshed and ready to explore! My granddaughter (13) slept in the loft and thought it was "super comfy and really cool". The beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows! We listened to albums, cooked on the wonderful gas stove and……

“The house is secluded and peaceful with a huge deck for a cool breeze with morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The house was spotless and well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Restaurants, grocery, and Katterskill Falls for hiking all within a 15-20 minute drive. Our host, Nick, was very attentive making sure everything was as we expected ( and it was). Would stay here again if the opportunity arises. I highly recommend this property for your vacation getaway.”

“Brought my family and some friends to stay for weekend for daughter’s belated birthday. The house was cozy. A little rustic. Very much like the cabins at lake Taghkanic. Basic decor and nothing too expensive, which I appreciate. Particularly with a house that sleeps that many and when many of them are young adults, prone to being messy. There is a lake but you either have to drive to it to or cut through the woods on foot, as it is at a local town park. The jacuzzi was a great draw. And the pool……
