“I've stayed here many times while traveling through Mobile. First, to give credit where it's due, I still consider this the best hotel in Mobile. That said, each stay seems to come with a different room quality and a different staff experience. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, although on occasion I get the impression that some employees are not particularly happy to be there. The rooms are the biggest unknown. “I just want to start by saying that I'm extremely grateful that we had a place to lay our head for the night after traveling for hours. So initially, upon checking in, you see a nice clean lobby. Smells clean and everything. But it's very deceiving. The rooms we're moderately cleaned, and I say, moderately, because you can tell they tried. “The staff said that we are lo longer welcomed because we left the room dirty. I showed the front desk clerk and the maintenance guy they said it was clean and we didn't make a mess.
