5/5 - Excellent
Hydra is a rock in the sea - but what a rock! The harbour (port?) is stunning on arrival. The walks along the coastal cliffs are stunning (and perfectly safe). It is expensive, but we were on holiday so hey... YOLO!

The Bratsera was such a lovely place to stay! It is rich with history and offers premium food options. The rooms are a tad older but that just adds to the charm. The staff was warm, inviting and incredibly helpful. It is close to cafes and shops. Perfect stay for anyone looking for a cozy spot on ...

The host was very communicative with information regarding the property - location, access and WiFi. It is just a short walk from the port.

Charming seafarer’s cottage! It was in a beautiful location with incredible views over the water and the town of Hydra. Literally 5 minute walk up a stoney path to the nearest little beach with crystal clear water (bring your water shoes) with gorgeous views all the way. 20 minute walk into town ...

We love Hydra, no traffic, beautiful surroundings, swimming and walking and lots of boats.
A stunning island which is a sight for sore eyes, weary minds abs tired bodies. It is evocative of a time gone by and I cannot wait to go back.
We love Hydra and return as often as we can. I’m not sure any island can compete in terms of the feeling you get when you’re there. Also, the sea and the beaches are nice and not overcrowded, The food is generally excellent too with great variety.
I think Hydra island would be hard to beat - it was lovely and quiet and very unspoilt. Lots of choice of good places to eat and some lovely beaches close by.
Good food, no cars, for a getaway take the boat bus to St Nicholas beach but dont forget beach towels and maybe take a picnic as the beach bar is fairly basic. Take cash for beach bar as no card machine.
