Leavenworth Icicle Creek Trailhead Hotels

"Loved staying at the Alpine Rivers Inn !! every room comes with a balcony in the back with a fairly private and gorgeous view of the river . AND free breakfast !! this was an emergency stay during the stevens closure due to pow but i do not regret choosing this location at all. There are board games in the lobby you can take back to your room to play and the staff were nothing but kind , i was able to check in and out early with no charge which i really appreciated . Rooms are fairly spacious and included a microwave and a mini fridge . safeway being super close also makes this place a great choice . the map in the lobby shows there is a hot tub on the property but there is not , but the absence of that is also clearly noted in the expedia/ hotel info page . there are also quiet hours from 10pm to 8am (if i remember correctly) and everyone staying seems to respect that . nice little fenced area for smoking outside with tables and chairs as well as the rooms are non smoking rooms ! I will definitely be back to stay here !!"

"If you desire peace and quiet with no children, this is the place to stay. From our room we had a gorgeous view of the countryside and the mountains. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. Parking was easy as it was right in front of the building. There were some downsides. Even with the heating vents covered the room felt hot at night. Opening the balcony door solved the problem. Also, there is no elevator that we could find and many of the rooms are on the second floor. The stairs are steep so getting luggage up and down the stairs could be an issue. We managed to wrangle our luggage up the stairs but it was a struggle."
