Great 2 day getaway
We stayed for two nights. The cabin was perfect. Everything we needed was on the property. The two kids loved staying in the upstairs loft and we loved that there was a king bed downstairs. A little far from town but very quiet and relaxing.

Anniversary get away
We were looking for a nice get away and that is exactly what we got. This cabin is clean and cozy. Roomy enough if we had brought the kids. The weather surprised us, so we lit a fire instead of exploring the trails. But we enjoyed the serenity and it was not a far drive from the village. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin in the woods!
The cabin is extremely clean. The location is cozy, quiet and just what we needed. The cabin had everything that family needs, it’s well equipped. My kids had a great time staying here. Thank you!

Wonderful cabin in a wonderful town
My husband, step daughter, her fiancé, their two little dogs and I spent a lovely weekend at this cabin. The cabin is charming and rustic feeling but very well maintained and equipped. It’s at a great location toward the end of a quiet street and feel pretty private. We ate a couple of meals in the cabin and got food in town, about 10-15 minutes away. Ot was an overall very enjoyable weekend.

Log cabin at its best!
Such a great cabin! We spent most of our time on the deck. It’s so pretty back there! Been coming to Idyllwild for over 25 years and have stayed at over 35 places. This was one of the best backyard sceneries we’ve had.

We had an amazing time enjoying the outdoors and the amenities of this cabin. The checkin process was super easy. Everything we needed was at the cabin, such as kitchen essentials, games, and blankets.

Great cabin for our family trip!
Easy to get to, well layed out and appointed for our every need. Our young kids thoroughly enjoyed having the loft space to themselves - plenty of space for them to play in addition to the 2 queen beds. We had a great trip to the snow and will likely be back.

The property was very well maintained. Clean, quiet, and efficient. Outside was beautiful and very close to nature. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back again. Beside the entry that was a bit mal-communicated the rest was perfect.

A hidden gem
The cabin is so clean , cozy and sit in a great location. Close vicinity to the woods and hiking trails. The attention to details has made staying there so comfortable. Owner responds very promptly. Highly recommended!

Wonderful getaway
We loved the cabin! It was clean, quiet and completely charming. Making dinner was easy with everything supplied and we enjoyed coffee on the porch listening to birds and with views of the trees. The turn table was a hit as was the selection of books and games. Easy access to hiking and kids loved the hammock after a long day out. We will be back!

Driveway needs improvement. Maybe more security cameras around the cabin. Maybe more secure doors and windows. Maybe a tv in the bedroom. The bed sheets had some white stains (like someone had ejaculated in the sheets) and not washed. I hope that was not the case, but we just swapped the sheets with extras in the closet. Great place to spend a few days just maybe make a little upgrades.

Great cabin on quiet street surrounded by towering pines and nice back deck w gas grill.This cabin is clean all log built w new working amenities like large flat screen,comfy couches in front of functional wood fireplace and fast wifi enabling easy chrome casting from your cellphone for channel surfing .Nice modern kitchen extremely well appointed w full size modern appliances all in perfect working order w all cooking gadgets and coffee makers (both drip and Pods available.)Master BR w large comfy king bed and 2 upstairs guest beds above.Bathroom contains its own heater so no getting outta shower and freezing and also soAp,shampoo and conditioner stockeed in shower .Easy check in w electronic locks and codes provided day before check in .We’ve already decided to return w our grown kids next time we book this cabin .Only thing lacking from our weekend was fresh snow..

Wonderful stay in Idylwild
We loved the timbered pines cabin. It was the perfect setting for our weekend away. The house was very clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved listening to the records, my children especially. They are now fans of jazz , john Denver and Pink Floyd. Overall a great cabin!

The Perfect Retreat
This is everything a mountain cabin retreat should be and more. Out of all the places I've stayed, this one takes the cake. Owners were responsive and you can feel the love they put into this home. I highly recommend and will be staying there in the future again.

Stay Was Amazing!
The quiet was great. Located at the end of a street there was no traffic. Having dinner on the back deck overlooking the forest was highlight. Our son loved the loft to play and watch a movie. We are looking forward to our next vacation at the cabin.

Fun mother daughter getaway
My daughter and I celebrated her 29th birthday in this lovely cabin. It had every thing we needed including the martini shaker and glasses, to make our stay enjoyable. We both felt very safe and loved that it was only about 10 mins from downtown Idyllwild. We enjoyed sitting out back relaxing in the hammock after a busy day of hiking and shopping, and on the deck sipping our coffee in the morning and listening to the song birds.

Exquisite little cabin.

The perfect cabin!!
I love everything about this cabin! It is cozy, yet spacious, well stocked, charming, and beautiful inside & out. Great DVD collection, too. Views of pine trees in the back were wonderful to see every day. It is great for a solo trip or a handful of people. I will absolutely stay here again. Owners were friendly & responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay over the New Year!!

Great Family Getaway
The cabin was exactly the getaway we were looking for. Relaxed long weekend in the pines, close to great hiking, hot chocolate in front of the fireplace, comfortable and with everything we needed in the kitchen, very clean. Easy & clear communication with the owner.

Perfect Holiday Hetaway
Timbered Pines is our home away from home. It’s even better than the last time we stayed a couple years ago. Missing that cozy cabin fireplace on this chilly morning! Ultra modern vintage inspired cabin
Beautiful trees beautiful setting, not as remote as my husband was hoping for but I enjoyed very much being in A quiet friendly neighborhood. The cabin was such that spending time inside away from the pandemic rules of social distancing was very enjoyable. It’s the kind of place one feels lucky to be quarantining in

beautiful cottage in Pin Cove/Idyllwild
This was a beautiful property, well stocked with everything you could need. Nothing but Forrest behind you. Comfortable beds. Loved it. It has a lovely back porch where we ate all of our meals. I recommend it. Only drawback is it is pretty far from Idyllwild village itself so driving in and out of town was father than we expected, about 12 minutes, even though only about 3 miles away. But truly a log cabin with everything, and quiet and peaceful!

Quiet log cabin
Great little log cabin, well set up, with forest views and big rear deck. The backyard is all trees, incense-cedar, CA black oak and ponderosa pine. The interior is cozy, comfortable and modern. Forest views from the kitchen and living room are excellent. Much quieter than the other places we’ve stayed closer to the center of Idyllwild. Highly recommended, unless walking into town is a priority.
