Second stay with my family and it was wonderful

This was my second time staying here with my family and it was perfect. The cabin was well equipped and we didn't need to bring anything besides our clothes! I was able to cook all meals in the kitchen. The location was perfect and close to town but far enough away from noise to make a peaceful experience. Will go there again!

Cozy, peaceful cottage.

Nice and comfortable place surrounded by huge pine trees. The decor was a throw back to the 70s, but I kind of liked that. Nicely equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds.

Lovely mountain retreat

Beautiful property and very clean and comfortable home. We loved the spacious second-floor great room with large windows looking out into the trees and mountains. Both bedrooms open onto the large front deck where we enjoyed morning coffee. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful after some long days and we were very pleased with the good quality cooking ware and well-stocked kitchen. Definitely hope to come back again.

Get away from life

Wonderful experience. The outdoor deck is amongst the pine tress and we could hear the wind in the pines. Very romantic and peaceful.

Cabin is quiet and cozy-secluded area surrounded by trees- cabin a bit run down-remote control issues, no batteries or low batteries- damp towels hanging in bathroom-damp sheets and towels in dryer- kitchen and bath very clean Check-in would have been better at 3:00 and honestly too far to walk to town where you would have to walk on the main road without a sidewalk, unsafe.

Beauty and peace

Lovely area, Mountain View’s and tall trees… cozy comfortable cottage- homey! Great restaurant- Ferros with wonderful jazz! Tuesday nights! Many restaurants closed early March- trips to desert an hour or so away- beautiful drive down the mountain! Peaceful, serene and friendly people! All in all we enjoyed it and will return- Wi-Fi good as I worked a few days. Kathy and Gary

Cozy Cabin.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Half of the road to the cabin was washed out just below the turn off from the main road which was impossible to see when arriving in the dark. The bed was comfortable. The shower nozzle was short but there was decent water pressure. There was no soap in the shower. Also no tissues anywhere we could find. Once the heater was turned on, the cabin was warm in the bedroom and bathroom. The firepllace doesn’t work. Vrbo gives you no advance notice that the rental management company for this cabin has a very unreasonable, one-sided, 9 page rental agreement that has to be signed after you’ve already committed and paid VRBO for use of the cabin. VRBO should make renters aware of this additional document prior to the commitment to rent, especially if you are committing after the cancellation date. Vrbo will not return your payment if you don’t want to sign the document with the rental management company (because of all the liability you’re signing up for). I called Vrbo about this. Customer service reps there were sympathetic but unwilling to return our payment. We signed the document to get the key. We were only there for a weekend wedding and didn’t spend much time there. We didn’t use the kitchen. Fortunately, nothing went wrong. Had we read this particular rental agreement before committing to Vrbo we would have stayed in a hotel. This rental management company controls a lot of properties in Idyllwild. The management employee who checked us in was very nice and efficient.

The bed and couch were comfortable and we slept great every night. The kitchen was fully equipped with lots of small appliances as well which we appreciate as we cooked a few times. The stove, toilet and refrigerator seemed quite new. The cabin was clean when we arrived and the heat was on so it felt welcoming right away. The cabin reminded me of a place I used to stay in as a kid with my family. The property management company kept us well informed and we had an easy check in and out. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Amazing private cabin****

This cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Kids had a lot of fun with the ps3 and Wii that were available. Also, the cabin was very private surrounded by trees and nature.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this quiet cabin with views of trees out all the windows. The kitchen is extremely well equipped which was great as we cooked all our meals in. The fireplace was warm and cozy. The cabin was very clean and all the appliances and toilet are new. Couch and bed were comfortable. We would stay here again. 😁
