Great location!!

This condo is literally 40 steps from the beach once you get out of the building. The beach is clean and so much fun. The condo was good for a family of four- we saved so much money by just eating breakfast everyday- they give you a list of the local grocery stores which was also very helpful. Called the host once since the screen door was not working... she just told us to gently put it on the track... even with doing that it came off so so easily. It just really needs to be replaced. The tv in the bedroom also did not have volume that worked... we did not contact her about that, but hopefully that gets fixed. Overall pretty clean and a nice place to stay for a weekend getaway.

Family vacation

Two adults and 1 teenager fit comfortably in this condo for a 4 night 5 day vacation while attending a sporting event at near by sportsplex. The king bed is incredibly comfortable and the pull out couch in the living room worked well for our teenager. To access the bathroom from the living room, you walk through the master bedroom. There was a rollaway twin “cot” and pak n play in the closet if needed. The condo is well equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, towels, wagon, cooler, fan and more. We enjoyed the larger pool in the central part of the complex in addition to the smaller pool and hot tub located in the A building where this is located. You can be in the ocean waves just minutes from the building exit. Just a 10 min walk to the pier to enjoy watching surfers and to photograph the sunset. I gave 4 out of 5 stars for cleanliness because the base boards were dusty/dirty but our overall experience in this unit was terrific. Oceanside was very crowded over the weekend and cleared out by Monday morning. If you want to explore this part of the California coast, this unit will not disappoint.

Overall Great Stay

Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay. We would consider staying here again. The location is great being close to the downtown area, the pier and marina (all walkable). It's very close to Interstate 5 as well. The beach and ocean are across the street from the complex. The pool and hot hub were great after a long day. The property itself is very secure (including parking) and quiet. The deck overlooking the west (and the ocean) and the north were great as well to catch sunsets. I would give our stay five stars if details weren't missed. We left written comments for the owner/property manger before we left. We hope they address them. Some of our comments were (but not limited to)... The check-in process was not detailed. The instructions were to go the HOA office. The problem is the HOA office is inside the locked complex (no access to it). We had to 'guess' and proceed to the security office for our keys. The security guard that gave us our keys spoke so fast we did not remember anything he said. Also, the lock to the condo door needs to be replaced and/or keys need to be re-cut (this has been mentioned many times previously in reviews). We thought we were either locked out, given the wrong keys or at the wrong condo because the keys did not initially work. Lastly, the screen door to the deck needs to be repaired as it is VERY hard to open and close (also has a rip in it). Overall however, we had a great (and relaxing!) stay.

Amazing Place!

This was such a great place to stay! Steps from the beach with awesome views! It was clean and organized with just about everything we needed. We loved that there were beach toys, an umbrella, and a wagon to carry it all with. Check in and out were very easy, too. An easy drive to San Diego and an easy walk to the pier and the harbor. Highly recommend!

Horrible Experience

There was a open fire pit inside the home and it had small candle size flame. Property owner never conveyed this to us, even when I mentioned we have infant. We checked in late night and So we hit the bed immediately without checking anything. Next day morning when we were in kitchen, my 1 year old daughter crawled and touched the flaming gas fire directly with her finger. When we rushed to emergency, the first question was how come there was a open fire pit inside the house. The property owner could have warned or conveyed us this before we checkin. Our total vacation mood screwed and our baby is still suffering with the wound. When I post this message, it's already 2 weeks from the day incident happened. I would advice stay away from this home if you have an infant.

Beautiful location

The location is just steps from an amazing beach and only a 15 min walk from downtown restaurants. The host was kind enough to leave some snacks for us when we arrived. The place was clean. Amenities were nice but we were disappointed the fireplace didn’t work. We got locked out when one of our keys didn’t unlock the door. We tried calling the host for assistance but only got her voicemail. Eventually we found security and got help, but I’m disappointed we never heard from the host. Overall we were satisfied and would visit again.
