“The house itself was perfect for even the large group of 12 of us. There is many things to do in the town itself and the local scenery and beaches were lovely. As my whole party was under 21 we could not rent a car so we rented bicycles from the town and I can not recommend this enough. Overall had an amazing holiday👍”

“The house had a fantastic sea view from almost every angle of the house and garden. The BBQ area was its own little resort with a sink and prep area as well as a jacuzzi , hammock and beautiful garden. All doors and windows had fully fitted insect nets and the AC was excellent. Walk to the beach was 10 min. Kitchen was very well equipped and super clean, all needed household items and cleaning products available in the small pantry. The property manager was excellent and on hand when ever……

“This beautiful rustic cottage was ideal for our two week stay in mid May with our daughter and her husband. It’s on a hillside, is very private, has a lovely terrace overlooking the tiny village and the ocean. We had the local beach to ourselves and enjoyed several nearby pristine (and empty) beaches as well. There are excellent family-run tavernas within walking distance and many hikes in stunning nearby gorges. Ioanna welcomed us with homemade jam and biscuits and the local raki liqueur and……

“Last year we discovered Villa Estia. We returned this year and had a wonderful holiday again. The villa is in a quiet environment, but close to a pleasant village with lots of restaurants and little shops. For hikers there are some beautiful gorges nearby, but also less tiring sights worth visiting. And of course there is always the pool! ;-)”

“Vielen Dank an George und Stella für den gefüllten Kühlschrank bei der Ankunft. Das Haus, der Pool und die Lage waren traumhaft. Der Ausblick auf das Meer und den aufgehenden Mond waren perfekt. In nur 5 Minuten Gehweg erreichte man den kleinen Kiesstrand von Achlia mit einer guten Taverne. Für den Einkauf sind nicht weit entfernt kleine Supermärkte, z.B. in Richtung Ireapetra, der 7 km entfernter Kalimera-Market. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Danke an unsere Gastgeber. 5 Sterne”

“Beautiful and quiet complex. Especially the children were very enthusiastic about the pool. Kitchen/living room and balconies spacious with great views. Makrigialos is a nice village with many restaurants/cafes, small stores and a lovely long beach within walking distance. We enjoyed our vacation very much.”

The villa and pool were well maintained with plenty of advice and support from the owner and management. The location is lovely on the outer edge of the town but still with shops and great restaurants all within easy walking distance.”

“All three of us absolutely loved this place. The apartment provided for all possible comfort and the spacious outside covered terrace was the perfect place to relax or enjoy breakfast or dinner. We very much enjoyed and appreciated the tranquility and privacy of the location. The beaches and cozy village was nearby and easily accessible. Our host was super friendly, responsive and accommodating. This was definitely one of the nicest and most enjoyable places we ever rented.”

“We were family of 5 ranging from 23 yrs up plus friends of theirs and the areas of villa suited us so well. Outside space great round pool and other coveted seated areas. Driving a must really as the local cafes, supermarkets and beaches all down the bumpy gravel track to villa about 5 mins away only but definitely a must. The pin drop for villa also essential especially if arriving in dark! One of our best family holidays in an unpretentious area that’s not full of British tourists!”

“All I want to say is that the pictures on VRBO are beautiful, but they don’t do this property justice! We loved every inch of Moonlight Villas & hated to leave. The location is ideal in which you can walk to the grocery store, pharmacy, bakeries and restaurants. The beautiful Lybian sea is right in front of the villa. Snorkeling was fantastic! Dora, the owner, and the property manager, Poppie, were very accommodating and hospitable. I highly recommend this property!!!”

“Das Haus entspricht in allen Teilen der Beschreibung und ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und hell und mit ausreichend Stauraum ausgestattet. In allen Räumen gibt es eine Klimaanlage. Die große Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es ist alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Von der überdachten, windgeschützten Terrasse hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Lage des Hauses bietet den idealen Ausgangspunkt, um den Osten und Nordosten……

“Well-maintained property, very calm, but good located for trips to the sandy beaches, nice taverns in close vicinity. We enjoyed the private beach and the kayaks. The kids also loved the garden and the pool.”

“The house was beautiful and perfectly furnished. We were greeted very warmly by the landlady whom we could call at any time. The inhabitants of the village were also very warm. I would also like to mention the taverna in the village where the residents and we tourists spent an evening together with delicious food and Greek music. We will be back!”
