"The place is amazing and spacious. We enjoyed the fireplace everydat and went for a hike close by. I particularly appreciated to have linens and towels, and oil and spices in the kitchen, so many cottages don't provide anything these days. The views from the covered veranda are amazing. A very relaxing stay with family and friends. The only caveat is that the hot tub smelled strongly of chemicals."

"Had a wonderful stay. The property is very nice. We took advantage of the spa services and the pool. In the summer the pools get very busy so you need to ensure to get there early. Ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurants and all meals were great. Wonderful relaxing hotel to visit for a perfect weekend getaway. "

"We had the coziest time at the chalet. The place is clean and welcoming. We had the opportunity to enjoy lots of hot tub time as well as an outdoor fire. We enjoyed our stay and would strongly recommend checking it out. :) "

"If you are looking for the perfect place to relax and unwind, this is it! The view from the deck is indescribable, all amenities in the house are geared around you being comfortable. Bed was nice and cozy and the hot tub on the deck was a beautiful touch!! Anne-Marie was very easy to deal with and when we met her she was just as nice to talk to. Very friendly and helpful with suggestions of where and what there is to do in the area. Sitting on the dock was so relaxing. We will definitely be going back. There was no downside to this rental, everything went smooth. Very modern and super clean!"

"Comfy beds. Wi-Fi was great. If you’re using Google maps load your destination into your phone before leaving the property… the cell signal is too weak when driving away from the property for the next 20 km or so, for Maps to work well. As a result, it’s easy to take a wrong turn and miss your tee time. "

"My family and I loved our stay at this cottage. The lake is so peaceful and beautiful, with tonnes of wildlife to enjoy, and great for stand up paddle boarding (my favourite activity was looking for turtles in the shallows while riding one of the paddleboards).  The cottage has comfortable bedrooms, a cozy living room, and a wonderful, well stocked kitchen. There are great views of the lake from the dining room, deck and yard. Val des Bois has lots of amenities, including two great ice cream places that my kids loved. We'd definitely come back. Thanks for the great vacation!"
