Excellent place to stay

It's our second visit to Seaweed which we enjoyed very much. Just a stones throw from the beach and some lovely countryside. Also plenty of shops for supplies, excellent fish & chips from the Black& White. The Focsle Inn , right on the beach is good for pub meals.

Another great family holiday At Seaweed cottage

3rd visit to seaweed and loved it. Great location, fantastic house and we will be back again. Wonderful homemade bread and wine, with house snug and warm when we landed. Teenagers and dog all excited to be back in Combe Martin

Pleasant Holiday Home

We all had a beautiful holiday in seaweed was such a lovely clean & pleasent home to stay in was great that there was a downstairs bedroom & bathroom was perfect for my mum who is 94 yrs the location was perfect.was made even more special to be welcomed with a welcoming pack the Swedish chocolate cake with clotted cream was delicious including the bottle of Prosecco & other treats thankyou to the lovely Nikki & Mark for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home would definitely return again love Maryanne,Eileen,Craig & Joan xx xx xx xx

This is an excellent property very clean and all the amenities you need with a few extras that the lovely Nikka supplied, milk butter jam sourdough bread wine and lovely vase if flowers. Nikki and Mark were very helpful and in contact if needed. We would definitely recommend this property

A perfect stay in a beautiful home

We had October half term at Seaweed with our 3 children and cocker spaniel. The house was one minute walk from the beach and nice little town centre which includes some lovely small independent shops/cafe/ice cream shops etc. Fantastic coast walks, all in walking distance. The house was perfect. It's a great layout, plenty of room for us all to have a comfortable stay. It was spotless! Everything was thought about, the owners certainly went the extra mile. The woodburner fire was the extra special touch and gave us cozy relaxed evenings. Communications with the owners was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Seaweed Cotrage

Wonderful accommodation ideally situated within 3 minute walk to the beach and with two parking spaces outside the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in August from the minute we arrived. So many thoughtful little treats had been left for us including home made bread. The house was extremely clean and the owners eye for detail has to be seen to be believed. Communication with Nikki and Mark on What’s App meant that any small query we had was dealt with immediately. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to return in the future.

The Beard's Holiday Review

Seaweed Cottage was a very comfortable, clean, bright and roomy home from home. It was spacious for a family of four (adults) and dog! Beds were comfortable and the cottage was well stocked with all we needed, including bed linen and towels. Showers were decent and there is a handy porch for coats and boots. It was literally a 5 minute walk to Combe Martin beach, shops and cafe's. The Black and White chippy was great (3 min walk), and the Ice cream parlour Sugar Rush was amazing. There is not much of a garden, but we didn't feel the need to have one as were so close to the beach. We would highly recommend Seaweed, for anyone wanting a holiday near the beach, in a very nice cottage.

Clean, modern, comfortable

Nikki was a very good host. Left us everything we need to start off with Home was very clean. Beach and dog friendly beach minutes away. Lovely modern home. Would not hesitate to visit again.

A lovely home

This lovely house was spanking clean, airy and cheerful. The kitchen has everything and more that we needed. The owners had added many kind, thoughtful extras to make our stay special. It’s in a lovely spot - two minutes from the beach. Local shops, cafes and restaurants are also on the doorstep. One of the bedrooms and shower room are downstairs, which was very helpful. I would recommend unreservably.

Excellent property

My wife, daughter and I stayed in the property for a week from 9 September 2022, and were totally impressed with everything, from it's position in Combe Martin and for the area, and especially the cleanliness and space. Also the friendly welcome pack of provisions - including the bread and wine. If ever we visit North Devon again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay in the property again and can thoroughly recommend it. In fairness we feel we should mention the only thing we commented on after arriving at the property, and that is that although the master bedroom had wardrobe space, the other two bedrooms didn't. BUT, this is only a very minor negative, and didn't affect our stay, but we feel it ought to be considered. Nevertheless, we would stay in the property again. Thank you so much.
