“I visit Rio 2x year for the last 30 years. I always stay at the Rio Othon Palace and received VIP upgrades but for the last several years I have not received VIP upgrades. I don't know if the hotel no longer offers it or if Expedia has this erroneously advertised. Check in used to be on the 22nd floor but not any longer. Great hotel otherwise.”
