“The location was great - proximity to Palma, bus line, beach - but not what I would consider a 5 star hotel. Service was lacking and a bit disappointing; for example the airline lost our luggage and I asked for a brush to be delivered to our room, and it never was despite 2 calls. One morning we scheduled room service for a time indicated on their ordering card (10 am - 10:15 am); it arrived at 10:40 am after a phone call. The experience contrasts with other 5 star hotels where the service is……

“I stayed at the hotel overnight before heading into Palma to meet friends. Upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which was a lovely touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel’s location is ideal if you’re looking for a relaxing stay by the sea while still being within easy reach of Palma. Breakfast was a highlight particularly the à la carte options, which were high quality……

“We upgraded to Red Level, which was worth it because of the room upgrade, breakfast was included and the lounge facilities that included free drinks (beers, cava, wines and soft drinks with nibbles) and tapas from 1700-1900 each day. We had a great view of the marina, bay and the cathedral in the distance. Very friendly staff, who were more than helpful. ”

“The location (right behind La Seu Cathedral of Palma) is perfect. The building the hotel is in was built in the 15th century and has been in the Cirera family for 300 years. This history is visible in the hotel while still looking very well maintained and polished. The design of the rooms fit very well with the history of the building. The service of the receptionist Marie was very nice. She was very welcoming, calm and accomodating. She personally guided us to her room while telling us all……

“Centrally located within a quiet square in Palma. Roof top pool, bar and lounging area provided a restful and invigorating alternative to sightseeing with beautiful panoramic views of cathedral, local churches and local civic buildings. Interiors were outstanding and the restuarant, bar and reception area provided a pleasant experience. In particular the breakfast menu was excellent. Finally, the staff could not be more respectful and helpful recommending excellent restaurants within the area……
