You can admire the Red Lake from afar, as it can only be reached with good climbing equipment. You can also plan day trips to the sea, which you can reach after a pleasant drive. This idyllic coastal town with roots in antiquity lies at the foot of the Biokovo mountain range. Makarska invites you to stroll through the narrow streets and visit sights such as the baroque church of St. Philip Neri, the monasteries and the historic town center and take a refreshing dip in the Adriatic Sea at the long town beach.
