“Didn't know there was a pool. The floor in the motel room was very dirty and the bathroom was dirty the medicine cabinet needs to be cleaned out did not want to put my toothbrush in there and the shower could have been scrubbed too and cleaner shower curtain. The staff was over the top of helpful they were wonderful!”

“This hotel was a rent by the night / month apartments for down and out drug users. I have never been to a worse hotel. Passed out people out front and filthy front door and check in area. We were told it previously had a meth lab inside. I want our money back. I can’t believe Expedia would have a location like this listed. ”

“Checking in was smooth, and the manager was friendly and helpful. The room and all areas of the Ocean Star Inn were clean, updated, and in great shape. Everything in the continental breakfast was fresh and the breakfast are was well equipped. The place shows pride of ownership, and the owner and staff were very nice. The little putt-putt golf was perfect fun for our grandkids. ”

“Everything is so wonderful and the family enjoy the stay so much. The only complain is probably the bed is kind of aged and too soft such that we all felt a little bit shoulder pain after waked up in the morning. By the way, the resort's Fireside restaurant is strongly recommended for future guests. The view, atmosphere, service, and the food are all excellent. ”

“This is an older hotel that has been well maintained. The staff was super friendly and courteous. Our room was very clean and quiet. The TV was old cable and not to clear. The best shower and water pressure we had experienced in sometime The breakfast area is in the basement and was a small area. Overall very good experience and would stay there again. ”
