I don't like writing bad reviews but definitely feel that I need to share so others are aware. I personally rely heavily on reviews prior to booking as others do as well. Management was given ample opportunity to make things a bit better for our stay, but they failed to try to make it right.
Location proximity was good, but the skybridge didn't connect to the convention center like advertised. Apparently they close portions on it depending on the time of day. So we ended up having to walk outside in the dark with children which is a main thing we were trying to avoid especially in this questionable downtown area. Could have been mentioned in the listing. The HVAC had issues at check in - very hot. We turned down the thermostat per the instructions but the upstairs didn't cool down. Not much sleep was had. I believe it was the placement of the vents in a renovated space which would be tough to fix. I was told fans would be brought to us but they never arrived in the 72 hours we were there. Multiple emails to management company later and still no fans or solution. Management responded quickly but it seemed to be a different person responding each time as I had to start from the beginning each time.
Otherwise the space was good - lots of room, kitchen was equipped just fine. Wasn't the cleanest - bed sheets may not have been washed? It was hard to tell. The space could use more comfortable seating in the living room as there is only one small couch and dining room chairs.
