“We really enjoyed our getaway at Hillside Cabin! The space is fantastic, our dog loved the fenced in area, and it was so convenient to get to from St. Louis. Cristina and Tim were very accommodating our entire stay. We hope to return some day!”

“We liked the place and enjoyed the deck. Wish we could of got the firepit going. I didn't realize it was a ladder to the loft (extra beds) instead of stairs. Was not feasible for senior citizen women. The rollaway on the lower level was not very comfortable. I also didn't realize it was only a mini fridge and no stove. My error, need to check more closely when booking. We did enjoy our stay and got to visit 9 wineries and some beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.”

“We loved the “cabin” it’s really a beautiful little home. So many highlights! a king size bed and huge windows, singing frogs, little fridge, all the kitchen you might need, outdoor grill, hot tub, fire ring, and 5 star shower. Awesome!”

“Enjoyed our Anniversary (using an app on birds) to bring in several birds using their native calls. The Family of Geese were entertaining and found a little Missouri Ring snake. Love Gods Creations big and small. 😍”

“Lovely country decorated log house with two porches and one is enclosed. A lot of small surprise amenities that weren't expected. We felt right at "home". Two ponds for fishing, horses and farm animals you can feed, walking trails, outdoor bbq and fire ring. When the owner happen to see us outside or on the road, he checked to make sure everything was good or he waved as he passed. Felt very secure that if we had a problem, it would be handled promptly. ”

“The coat rack inside the front t door needs to be a bit beefier, and better lighting down the stairs to the hot tub - maybe some kind of light/lantern at the hot tub as well - we had to use our cell phone lights”
