"We loved staying at the Leslie Castle. John & Nicole were great. We came by train and then planned to go by Uber to the Castle and found the one driver was on holiday. John & Nicole were so gracious to come and pick us up. Food was great. Nicole does a history of the castle after dinner each night which was so enjoyable and a tour of the castle. Our room was huge and we loved every minute of it. We walked to the little Hamlet of Leslie and met some of the locals. The weather was great...

"We stayed in one of the offsite casa style rooms which was perfect for our family (we were parents travelling with two teenagers). Room was clean and had all we needed for our two night stay. We appreciated the afternoon scones and tea in the main hotel. We were surprised that our rooms didn’t have any housekeeping between our first and second nights so I’m not sure if that was part of the casa room service or not but our request for addition towels was taken care of quickly!"

"Make sure if you mobility issues you dont leave it to chance because we got what seemed like the third last room in the hotel. Also the corridors later on in the evening and very early morning were noisy. Lots of door banging;-(. Breakfast as lovely. Staff that we encountered in the dining area were lovely. Staff at reception lest friendly as they were having system issues, also couldn’t accommodate a change of room for us. I will make sure next time booking anywhere that this is stipulated. Didn’t use WiFi as it was an unsecured network. 5G works fine. Room was clean, altho the light shade was rather dirty or it was a horrible colour. Bathroom floor could have been a bit cleaner. All in all 3.75 out of 5."
