"I travel a lot for work, and it was great to find this little hotel off the beaten track. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and well laid out, with plenty of space. I used the link in the booking confirmation to find the hotel without any trouble, but take care to follow the signs."

"This was a lovely wee family-run hotel that is extremely well located for the University of Aberdeen and some of the historic sites in that area. I rented the single bedroom with ensuite toilet and shower, which was very good for solo-traveller. The bed was nice and comfy and the room had a small table and plenty of storage for clothes. There was also a small ironing board and hair-dryer. The shower was nice and hot, with good strong water pressure, so ideal. The cooked breakfasts were...

"We had to wait beyond the 3pm check in to get in our room. We were exhausted having come over on the overnight ferry from Shetland.
We took our dog and the dog rooms are a 5 to 8 minute walk with you luggage include going up a floor and back down. There was no offer of help. Our room keys failed twice. The 2nd time I rang reception and got them.to bring them down. When we checked out the receptionist said it was probably because the battery in the door needed changing!
The room itself was big and comfy. There was a fridge. The bathroom was new and nice. Blackout curtains.
The spa area was also a 10 min walk from our room including having to go outside.
The breakfast was ok. Self service.
The hotel has a lot of functions so make sure you are nowhere near the ballroom or bar if you want quiet."

"Stayed for a gig at the P & J live, only advice, if staying for a gig get there early or there will be no parking. not enough spaces for the rooms. Other than that, lovely hotel."
