「We all had a fantastic time at Thornbank. We were a large family party and the flat was big enough for all of us and suited us to a T. The flat was very clean, had super comfy beds and kitchen large enough for all of us. A lovely balcony off the kitchen was a delight to just sit and appreciated the garden. Outside of the town centre, it was still close enough to walk to the local Co-op for supplies and into the town for access to the River Leven & Loch Lomond and the train station. I loved sitting outside next to the burn with a cup of tea in a morning, listening to the soothing sounds of the water and birdsong. Fiona, the host, was wonderfully welcoming and it was an idyllic home for our few days in Balloch.」
