May Long Weekend golf trip
Good location. Quiet and clean. Comfortable home. Only thing we were disappointed in was there was no BBQ and the patio furniture was old and falling apart. Paint chipping off the chairs and all the plastic chairs were very dirty. There was also a large wasps nest above the rear patio. So we didnt spend much time on the deck. Too bad because the weather turned out to be nice and the view was pretty good! I didn't think to check the listing for including a BBQ. We had brought nice steaks and had to bring them back home. Everything else was fine but no bbq was a surprise.

Thanks for the feedback.....We will work to resolve most of the issues The chairs should have been cleaned especially after the winter snow melt......The wasps seem to be early this year and normally we have wasp traps set out to keep them to a minimum.......We used to supply a BBQ and had guests leave it turned on (so there was no gas for the next guest) and we found guests did not attempt to clean the BBQ after they used it. So we had more complaints with a BBQ then we get without....We do not list a BBQ as being supplied.....Would be open to how best to handle this situation.....so we can improve the experience...

Family Romp
Location, location, location! Close to town, but easy access to hiking, skiing, ice skating…the great outdoors at your fingertips. Charming town with intriguing shops, great restaurants - something for all ages. Hot springs, yup! Just a short drive away. Communication with our host was delightful with a touch of humor. The cabin was tidy and well organize with three bathroom(heaven for a group with teenagers). Only item we needed was a snow shovel. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

This house had everything we needed for our family on our ski vacation. My only concerns were the thermostat was set so low upon arrival that we were freezing for the first night and although the main areas of the house were clean, there was a great amount of dog hair and dust that were noticeably unattended to.

Relaxing Family Holiday
We were pleased with the home in general. The H Owners were very helpful when I booked. We enjoyed the space out back to walk, and look after dogs needs. Most everything we needed was available and if not we were close to down town. The hot pools at Faimont and Radium were close by and relaxing. Great place for our Family stay vacation ! Thanks

Great spot!
This is a wonderful getaway spot with plenty of room to share with other people. The A/C took a couple days to get the house to the low 70s, but it got cooler in the evenings. It is in a great location that is about five minutes from downtown Invermere.

Great quiet location
The house was in a great location, close drive to downtown and to multiple beaches. House had plenty of space for everyone, and ample kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was fully stocked. The use of laundry and dishwasher was a nice bonus. My wish would that the backyard was fenced as having a small dog was very time consuming to take her for a walk just to have her go the bathroom. Doors to bedrooms need some oil in hinges, single beds could use comfier mattresses. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back for future stays. Thank you Tom & Bettywyn for letting us use your house for our family’s vacation!!!!

Incredible Invermere
Our 2 storey VRBO accommodation was well appointed with most everything one would need for a great vacation. Initially we thought our in-laws would come with us; they would have had their own bedroom and bath as this house could accommodate 6-7 people. We brought our Mini Schnauzer on this holiday with her own travel kennel, but the house had a huge kennel for pets. Convenient field right behind the residence to take her for quick breaks. Very neat and tidy - obviously well looked after. We appreciated the binder with "house rules" and suggestions for what do do in the area. Thank you for the great visit!

House is as described, had a issue with the check in, did not get the code until we followed up and it was after the 5pm check in time. Owners have a suite in the basement so they are there during the stay.

Wonderful mountain view
Nice place, geat view of the mountains on the end of town so more wildlife and less bustle. Nice young family neighborhood vibe. Great field outback for dogs. Cable TV is kind of expected at this price point (college basketball playoffs were on) Could not get the gas fireplace to work, gas shut off. Small things realy.

I was expecting more
The house was ok. Master bedroom with jet tub was a deep tub without jet. Barbecuing deck without barbecue. Tv no cable connection. Some details should be clarified. Not being able to contact the house owner upon arrival as we could not open the door. VRBO protocol is very frustrating when you need help. It took over 21/2 hours on the phone to provide us accomodation the first night. The owner should have a 24/7 contact in case of emergency .

Sorry about your concerns.... As you know; we paid your hotel bill for the night you were unable to access the property due to a information mix up.... Just to be clear we do not advertise a BarBQue, nor a jetted tub or cable TV. We used to have a BarBQue but previous guests left the unit on and drained the tank too many times....so we took it out....We have never had cable TV but it is a Smart TV and all one has to do is log in with their subscription to Netflix, or Amazon Prime or whatever other service they use...If you read the description for the TV on the listing this is clearly stated. We have never had or advertised a jetted tub...... I recommend you carefully read the posted property description before renting this or any other property and subsequently leaving a negative reviews..... We worked with you and ensured you were not out of pocket for any extra costs and did not get any positive acknowledgement for that effort... Thanks take care and have a great day.. Tom

Comfortable family home
We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home. The minute you walk in you feel comfortable - great layout, comfortable furniture, and a kitchen stocked with everything you need to make your meals. Comfortable bedrooms, clean bathrooms, lots of space. And the hosts were quick to respond to questions. The walking trails right next to the house were handy with our dogs. We will stay here again!

Very nice home in a nice area. Best part was the view to the snowy field in the back where everyone in the neighborhood would walk their pups. Would have been perfect if it was better equipped with things like coffee, cooking oil, and salt and a snow shovel for the icy front steps. There were also a bunch of extra fees.

We had a great stay in Invermere at this VRBO! It was extremely well equipped with kitchen items, linens, etc., and had plenty of space for a family. The host was very responsive and friendly. It is a great property for a quiet family getaway!

Good but...
A beautiful house in a quiet neighbourhood with a great view of mountains. The hosts were quite easy to communicate with and fair when it came to a bit of a booking mistake I made, and I appreciate that. Unfortunately, I did not check the bed before flopping into it, tired. It had grit and hair some of which could be seen on pictures. The sheet on one side of the bed had been flattened and wrinkled as if someone slept there. There was grit and some hair in the tub we never used. Hosts reported a deep clean had recently been done but dust was also apparent. I could live with the dust but the sheets were upsetting. The place was otherwise tidy, kitchen clean, and the place was spacious.

Great quick stay in the valley
Had a great stay in the valley for a family event. The owners were flexible to my family’s needs and communicated quickly when we had a minor inconvenience (hot water tank hadn’t been turned on). The house was cute and comfortable, great for hosting several members of my family. The house did run hot - we had to sleep with the fans on, windows open. Couldn’t quite figure out the AC but we made the best of it. Check in and out process was easy. Would stay again.

The property is excellent for a quick getaway . Nestled right next to a trail on the mountainside it’s cool and well equipped. Its not next to the lake in any way but is a well equipped and nice place . Wish we had stayed a couple of more nights but maybe next time. Would rent again .

I have a very mixed review on our stay.
I have a very mixed review on our stay and don’t think I would stay there again. While the property was great the hosts were very rigid and I felt like there were extra charges for everything. While we were still in the free cancelation date range we wanted to reduce our stay by one day as we had unexpected guests from England and they wouldn't let us reduce so we paid for a night we could not use the property. As apparently to adjust the booking requires the approval of the hosts. We had 6 people in our group and despite the house sleeping 6 we were charged an additional $350 for the 6th person. There was also a $150 pet fee which was not listed on the original listing. Then after we left the housekeeper found a tear in the quilt cover on the daybed in the living room (which we don’t think we caused but because we didn’t report it within the first hour of our checking in it is our responsibility according the house rules ) and the amount they charged us for replacement I think was double what it was worth. I tried to appeal that to VRBO and haven’t gotten anywhere yet.

Family getaway
Bettywyn and Tom have a lovely home. It was the perfect size for our family, everyone had a room. I liked that one of the rooms had 2 twin beds. My kids enjoyed lounging on the daybed in the living room. The big, comfortable chair in the master bedroom was a nice touch, I loved sitting in it and looking at the beautiful view. All of the linens were clean and luxurious. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and more. My husband and I loved sitting on the chairs on the back deck while having our morning coffee, the neighbors were friendly and said hello. I would definitely recommend this house, we will stay here again. My only negative is I wish it was closer to the lake. We did try to find the private beach that they spoke about in the ad but seemed to end up on a dead end road. I'm not sure if went to the right location.

We are so glad you had a good visit. When you get to the dead end you walk straight ahead through the bush (trail must be over grown) to the lake!

Comfortable home to bring our family of adults together. Plenty of space to spread out and come together again. Lovely view of the mountains from the deck. I found the info binder very helpful. I didn’t need to bother the owners for anything.

This property was okay. As the March review stated we were unaware that there could be owners or others in the basement. The deck was in poor condition as well as the yard outside. The BBQ needs replacement as we used foil to BBQ on. There was no soap in the bathrooms. The master bedroom has a closet but it was locked and the 3rd bedroom closet was blocked by a bed. The house was fairly clean a few of the kitchen accesories need replacing ie. cookie sheet. I think that it should be noted that the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and ample. For the rental price it met our needs otherwise. Kathleen

We enjoyed our stay and the space worked very well for us (4 senior adults). The outdoor space is limited to a small deck front and back. The kitchen, well equipped, and bathrooms were clean and nice. The floors weren’t laminate floors weren’t super clean though and some things need are a little tired and worn. The view out the back is wonderful and there is a great green space for walking dogs. It would be wonderful if there was an outdoor patio or deck in the back big enough for a table

Rules
The rules for this place are ridiculous. One rule said you had to have one parent per child… what if you are a family of five with three children. Secondly that you must crate your dog when you leave the home. This was not disclosed on the ad whatsoever. Had it been we would not have booked this location. The owners suite is also only separated by a basement door so you can hear people walking and talking below you. They also did not tell us when the owners were scheduled to be there, even though they said it would ne updated. Also they had no soap anywhere in the house. Overall lack of disclosure, and lack of privacy was a huge issue here.

Great location to relax and take out dogs. Small drive to centre of town.
Great place, lots of room for people. I would make sure you have all information needed prior to going. Check in was later than most places, 5pm, and owners are hard to get ahold of after 8pm.

Great pet friendly place!
Beautiful family home that is pet friendly with excellent access to walking trails right from the front door! Really appreciate being able to bring our two large breed mountain dogs to a quality place like this. And back deck even had a gate so that dogs could sit securely outside. Felt like home!

Invermere house with a dog
Great space. Nice to have the field and trails right there as we had a dog. Very well equipped with what you need aside from your own food and drinks. Comfy place to relax. Note: you won’t be able to use fireplace. The TV wasn’t connected to cable or internet so we couldn’t use but not a big deal for us. Worked out much better than a hotel for us. Would stay again. Spacious kitchen and multiple bathrooms. Laundry in suite.

Thanks for opening your home to share with our family. Equipped with essential household items.
We enjoyed the library and the easy chair in south bedroom to read. Card rule book in library solved a card game dispute. Hope you find that we left the house cleaner than we found it. Appreciated the bedroom set up with all of the bathrooms. Will consider renting again if in the area. Highly recommend others to rent.

We booked this short notice for three nights. Two families of three. The listing is accurate. Very clean and well equipped rental. Pet friendly and convenient for dogs ( small park/trail right next door). No hesitation recommending to others.
