“We celebrated my mother in law’s 80th birthday over the long Labor Day weekend at Priest Lake. This property was perfect for our family! There was plenty of space for our group of 10 plus a baby and a dog. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking for a crowd. The outdoor space is great for gathering and sharing a morning cup of coffee or enjoying a fire at the fire pit (sadly there was a burn ban while we were there.). The property is a short drive to Tamrack for gas, groceries and souvenirs……

“We have been visiting the Pend Oreille River for decades, to perform research work on managing Eurasian Milfoil (an invasive aquatic weed) with the US Army Corps of Engineers Aquatic Plant Program, and to duck hunt. We stayed across the river at the Outpost (no longer open) since 1988 to facilitate these visits. We found this property for our October visit and there were three of us.
