Villa Baya is a lovely two BR home with a great view. I was very disappointed that the outdoor furniture pictured in the listing was not available to sit and enjoy the sunset view. We were told upon inquiring that it was sent out for cleaning and had not been returned. OK, so we paid the full rate but could only enjoy the view outside from the uncomfortable dining chairs. Given that one rents this facility for that view, this seemed in poor form to us.There was also an issue with the plumbing that caused a second degree burn on my back. I lightly brushed against the main water pipe in the shower and it scalded me. I've used many of the Euro type showers before and never had an issue. Honestly the property manager stated they'd look into to it but didn't seem especially concerned or apologetic. Such a shame as we would have been beyond thrilled with the place if these issues either didn't arise or had been addressed with care and kindness.

Quite and cozy stay

We spent two lovely weeks in this beautiful villa, located very close to the main village and its port, but in a very quite place. Its central location allows to get to all areas of the island without spending much time. The villa is well equipped and with a big terrace looking at west so do not loose the amazing sunsets ! The checkin and checkout have been very easy thanks to Eleftheria who is a kind and attentive person.

You have to stay here

My wife and I stayed at Villa Baya the second week of September 2018. The villa was everything we could ask for and centrally located. We were very well supported by the staff and always available to meet out needs. The honesty bar is so awesome and well supplied for breakfast, greek toast, and very fine wines and cheeses. There is a grocery store at the port has just about very thing else you may need. You should rent a car. Although the villa is very close to the hora, it is on a hill. Besides, you will want to visit all the beautiful places on Ios. The villa is quiet and the picture of the sunset tells it all. Thank you Tania for the beautiful stay. Sincerely, Hop

Beautiful home and views

The house is very clean and has great amenities. The views of the port are wonderful, and we spent much time on the balcony. It was about a 5 minute walk to the Chora, where we were easily able to take a bus to the main sights on Ios. Tania was very accommodating and communicative the entire trip. Highly recommended!
