A Four-Season Lake Escape
Remember when summer meant lake days, laughter, and never checking the clock? When kids made their own fun—fishing off the dock, swimming until sunset, and catching fireflies at dusk—while adults finally had space to slow down and breathe?
And when winter meant sledding and snowmen, skating on frozen lakes, and warming up with hot chocolate by the fire?
That feeling still exists. Welcome to Copper Lake Cabin, where timeless lake life meets modern comfort, convenience, and connectivity any time of year.
Start your mornings with a cup of coffee as the lake sets the tone for the day—sometimes with a gentle breeze and birdsong, other times wrapped in peaceful stillness under a blanket of snow. Watch the kids—or the young at heart—wander in from the private bunkhouse, complete with its own bathroom, ready for whatever adventures the day brings. From the moment you arrive, you’ll know this is more than a getaway - it’s a reset.
Life moves a little slower here, but you don’t have to fully disconnect unless you want to. Enjoy reliable high-speed internet and strong cell service whenever needed. Our suggestion? Let work think you’re “off the grid” while you decide exactly how connected you want to be.
This beautifully updated 3-bedroom, 2-bath lakeside cottage (second bath available late spring through early fall) sits directly on picturesque Copper Lake. The main level features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space, along with main-floor laundry and a cozy master bedroom.
Step outside onto the lakeside deck for morning coffee or evening cocktails, or unwind in the private hot tub overlooking the water after a day of adventure. Downstairs, you’ll find a comfortable TV room, an additional bedroom, and a fantastic game and play area featuring foosball, shuffleboard, darts, classic Nintendo, and a variety of board games perfect for all ages, rain or snow.
Need even more space? The separately heated bunkhouse offers four additional beds, and a comfortable sitting area ideal for kids, teens, or extra guests. An extra bathroom and outdoor shower is also available during warmer months (no water in winter).
At the lake’s edge, enjoy a dock, swimming raft, waterfront fire pit, kayaks, a rowboat, and fishing gear during the warmer seasons. Life jackets and paddles are provided so everyone can jump right in when conditions allow. In winter, the lake transforms into a quiet backdrop for snowshoeing, skating, and cozy fireside evenings.
Though private and secluded, the cabin is just a short drive from Tomahawk and Merrill for dining and shopping. Ride ATV and UTV trails directly from the driveway in warmer months, or snowmobile straight from the property in winter, with trail systems stretching all the way past Rhinelander. Outdoor enthusiasts will also love being less than five minutes from Underdown Recreation Area, offering mountain biking, horseback riding, and cross-country ski trails depending on the season.
To make your stay comfortable, we provide a starter supply of essentials including toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, and paper towels. We recommend picking up groceries and any additional supplies before arrival so you can settle in and truly relax.
Copper Lake Cabin is where unplugging feels easy, reconnecting feels natural, and memories are made season after season.
