「Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)」

「Reception is the bar! Very pleasant and patient staff. Pricey evening meal, but a nice restaurant with a good choice on the menu. Nice gardens including a giant chess set - all very well kept. Big car park. Nice room, clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, but I didn't try the shower. Tassimo coffee machine. 「Lovely brick building from 1902 retaining all its old charm. Now a modern pub/hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had food that evening which was very good. 「Claire was very welcoming. The room was spacious and clean with a view of the beautiful garden. She did a typical English breakfast which was delicious with fresh fruit and other goodies. I would recommend.」

「What a lovely find , spend only one night but I was very impressed , the bar garden is delightful , my room was very comfortable with lots of room . Dinner and wine were on the expensive side , but worth it for a treat . Will definitely stay again if I’m in the area !」
