Found the staff very pleasant and helpful. The room was bigger than usual and well maintained with cleaning and supplies. Was a bit disturbed on Friday and Saturday night by loud music from a club across the street putting out loud thumping drums in the wee hours of the morning. Apparently the council won't take steps to handle that! But other wise our stay was pleasant. It was good to have a hotel close to the rail and bus stations to get around.

Nice welcome. Good price. Room a long walk from the lift on 4th floor. Clean, comfortable bed. Plenty of towels. Sadly there are no baths throughout the hotel. The TV menu did not work, only BBC worked but it pixelated. They offer ear plugs as not everyone likes city noises , I am surprised having stayed at Heathrow/Gatwick /Birmingham NEC hotels with double glazing blocking airport noises, that the traffic at the Northampton traffic lights etc was so close and was very prominent. I did not eat at the hotel or do breakfast as I was at a conference at a nearby hotel.
