“I booked with this hotel online. When I arrived, I was told there were no rooms available, and I’d have to stay across the way at another hotel, which was not comparable in quality. It was dark and dated and not at all what I wanted. I can’t really speak abt what The Fontana is like, other than to say I never stayed there because they didn’t honor their commitment to me.”

“A pretty standard budget hotel experience. Easy to get to off the highway, ample free parking, clean facilities, helpful staff, well-maintained rooms with the typical amenities you'd expect for the price. The area is not walkable at all (but it's Indiana, so I wasn't really expecting it to be), but there's plenty of dining and shopping within a couple minutes' drive. My only two complaints are that my room had a torn carpet that I tripped on in the dark once, and the pancake machine wasn't……

“We used this hotel because it was right across the street from Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where the Fever were playing. It was very convenient. We ate at the restaurant at the hotel and the food and drinks were good. Loved the waiter and the bartender. The room was clean. The breakfast wasn't great (cold French toast), but it was free so can't complain too much. The parking was very expensive (over $50.00 for one night), but it, too, was very convenient and probably parking anywhere downtown……

“I liked the location for a quick walk to the Murat for a concert. Having a fridge in the room was great for storing food overnight. When I was able to get ahold of the staff, they were helpful, however, I called the front desk 5 or 6 times and only got an answer once. Before I say anything else though, it seems like a staffing issue. Every time I talked to anyone in person, they were super helpful. The AC unit in the room wasn’t working so I was trying to either get it fixed or switch my room.……

“We checked into our room and immediately heard a barking dog and howling. We alerted the front desk with no resolution. Two hours later the dog was still barking and howling. Another call to the front desk which we were told they had called the person renting the room and left a message. Stated that is all she could do. The dog was audible over our sound machine. We were never offered to change rooms. Definitely not a place to stay in the future. So disappointing after the previous……
