Lakefront Retreat on Long Lake – Perfect for Wildlife, Weddings & Getaways

Escape to my cozy lakefront retreat just an hour north of the Twin Cities, nestled on the northwest shore of Long Lake—a 390-acre DNR-stocked lake in rural Minnesota. Ideal for family retreats, romantic weekends, proposals, weddings, or peaceful work getaways, this charming space offers comfort, nature, and a touch of adventure.


The Space

Your private 1,200 sq. ft. lake-level suite has its own entrance and includes:
• 1 bedroom with a queen bed and TV
• Full bathroom with a relaxing jetted tub
• Spacious family room with oversized furniture, a 55” satellite TV, and a see-through fireplace
• Cozy sitting room for reading or conversation

While there’s no full kitchen, you’ll have everything you need for convenience — microwave, Keurig, mini-fridge, snacks, and outdoor BBQ — just like a high-end hotel suite.

The Setting

I’m just four houses down from Sunrise on England Shores Grill, Bar & Resort, where you’ll find food, live entertainment, and wedding events. The property offers beautiful lake views, flower gardens, a gazebo, fire pit, BBQ area, WiFi, cable TV, PlayStation, and a DVD collection.

Optional Experiences

Enhance your stay with on-the-water fun:
- Pontoon excursions on my 2018 24-ft, 115HP pontoon
- $75/hour
- $250/half-day (4 hrs)
- $400/full-day (8 hrs) Includes cooler with ice & water (add $40/hr for tubing & gas)

- Kayak rentals – $50/day each

I can also arrange meals, entertainment, transportation, and custom activities for an additional fee.

I live upstairs and love hosting guests — always happy to help make your stay special. Please let me know ahead of time if you plan to bring a pet. (I have friendly outdoor cats.)
