We loved our stay! It had exactly what we wanted: short, easy walk to the beach (less than 10 minutes to Spiaggia di San Pietro); shops and bars all right there; air conditioning; comfortable size for our family of four with a 9 and 12-year-old; full kitchen with plenty of cookware; beautiful view of the port during the day; and the lively, active port action with people always coming and going. We were there two weeks. So the market across the street was helpful and so was the grocery store about a 10 minute walk away. Ischia Ponte is definitely the bustling nightlife spot on the island and the back deck that faces the street was like a party in the evening - we loved it! With the apartment door closed you couldn't hear the street sounds, which was also great. The deck that faces the water of the port was beautiful and the jacuzzi was a bonus, especially for the kids. After 8 or 9pm the ferry boats, big and small, drop their anchors and dock in the port for the evening. We rented two scooters for the time we were there, and although the apartment does not have parking itself, Francesco helped by telling us where there was free parking less than 10 minutes away. We decided to pay for parking at Parcheggio di classe which was 2 minutes away, reasonably priced and convenient.Check-in and out was easy and convenient and Francesco was very responsive to the minimal needs and questions we had.A vacation we will remember forever!

Ischia on the harbour

The property is in a great location on the harbour. However, being the harbour, it's got lots of ferries, car ferries, and boats, which make it very interesting, but when the large ferries are berthed overnight, they leave their generators running, which can be noisy. The property is on the second floor of an older building, and as such has great views, and is in a great location for the ferries. However, the entrance way and the stairs to access the property, which are communal, are not kept well. The property itself was very good. Very poor communication with the property owner beforehand. I had to follow up on emails, and then WhatsApp, and then phone calls, and on the day of checking in, I still didn't know how I was checking in. For a week's stay, one large towel and one small towel per person wasn't really enough, so we had to do quite a few washings. Overall a lovely week just highlighting several areas the property could improve on.

Million Euro View!

This property is perfect for your stay in Ischia. You can walk to the beach, grocery store, bar for a coffee and pastry or evening aperitivo. Restaurants are close be and I recommend Da Emmidio and Capuccino for a snack and a spritz. For pizza hit up Peccati di Golla. This property is close to buses so you can explore the island. Air conditioning is in the bedroom and great for sleeping if there are mosquitoes out and you need to close the balcony doors. Hot tub was terrific after a long day out explorying. Oh and the best part is that if you take the hydrofoil this property is a two minute walk from where you disembark.

Great location but 43 steps

Pros: Beautiful water view, near bus pick up, lots of restaurants near by! Cons: Must climb 43 steps to the apartment and there was some minor plumbing issues.

Great location

Superb location and very clean. Francesco responded quickly to our requests. But we were very disappointed to find only one bedroom after listing showed 2. The very small seating area with a sofa bed has only a partial curtain to separate it from kitchen, thus providing no privacy for users. Apartment might work for couple with children but not for our group of 3 adults.

Heart of Ischia Port, on the water

Great stay in Ischia. Place had everything you would want for a family of 4. Located at the port, near tons of restaurants, main bus stop, and cafes. Check in process was easy and place was better than described. Two porches, back one completely private with hot tub, washer, fully stacked kitchen. Air conditioning was great after a summer day at the beach. Would highly recommend.

Visit to Ischia

Our trip out to Ischia was delayed due to stormy and very rough seas! All high speed ferries werel canceled and the ride on larger ferry was slow and rough. An adventure all its own. Was in constant contact with Francesco throughout the voyage. The representative of the apartment was kind and waited for us to arrive. Great Apartment and great location. Awesome view overlooking the active port and a short plesant walk to the restaurants, shops and ferries. It was a wonderful place to stay. We will difinately stay there in the future.

Lovely apartment, excellent location

We enjoyed staying at the apartment and the location definitely made us think about staying again next year. The decor is a nice simple mix of traditional Ischia with a touch of modern but the two balconies are what really make it. We did have one or two issues with the hot tub but Francesco sorted these out as quickly as he could and was helpful and friendly throughout. If we were trying to improve it then little things like a breadboard/pizza slice would be a bonus and you should be aware that the ‘back’ balcony is quite noisy from traffic (although enjoying the warm evening sun) but the port side balcony more than makes up for it as we could watch the boating activity for hours - and from the hot tub if we wanted! Thank you Francesco, we hope to see you again.
